Looks pretty good. I lived in the Eugene area during his time there. They had a nice season. I was so focused on trying to make ends meet, i was always working during their games. Wish i had watched him. Kinda Klay Thompson-esque.

Absolutely!! This guy is an animal. Does it all...and does everything very well.

And while we're at it, let's get Josh Hart too. Not sure how much it would take but I love his game and mentality.

Why are people even worried about the draft this year, I don’t see Olshey trading into it. I think the roster will be filled out by veterans.

    As do I.

I think one reason to be excited might be for a trade though?

For better or worse, it's next. It's not like we want to spend more time talking about the sjw nonsense.

Best online mock draft out there? Since DraftExpress went behind a paywall I've been using NBADraft.Net, but it's not great - definitely some eccentric picks. Recommendations?

That's my new fave as well. Been on that one for a year or so. Not so much for this draft though, since we're not in it.

I really hope the Lakers don’t land this guy. He’s starting to rise and is getting plenty of looks in the first round.

The draft used to be one of my favorite times. Just another thing the Olshey/Stotts regime took from me.

I like this one just cuz it rates a prospect on a scale in about 20 categories. http://www.tankathon.com/mock_draft

Hey, maybe we could've had both of them for the picks that we traded for RoCo.

What y’all think of the chances Neil actually trade for a pick? I think likely, at least I hope so, because there are some guys in the second round that I like and think can be instant impact rookie

I highly doubt it. We don’t have time to develop players, at least not guys on the active roster. Maybe you’ll see a couple two way guys but considering who Olshey wasted that spot on last season, I doubt even that. Every open spot should be going to a veteran who fills some sort of role, even if it’s just depth imo. Olshey has to load this roster up for a run next season. Every player (outside of Elleby) should serve a purpose in the immediate future.

Also, I did zero research this year and know nobody outside of some euros, so I don’t wanna look like a dummy hehe.

Why does the board follow the finals every year when Portland hasn't been in one in decades?

True. Plus Milwaukee traded lotz of draft capital to get Holiday. They knew the time was NOW, to surround Giannis. To get him all in on an extention. There wasn't time to develop. Too many in here dwell on what could be with a draft pick that was traded away. RoCo was a great addition. We still have 2 quality young guys, Nas & Ant, who are trying to bring their games up to actually be helpful. If there is someone still there in the 2nd round, i could see Neil buy in with cash. The Blazers are in a trade for certified talent mode, PERIOD!

Looks like they've got Duarte going in the lotto and are comparing him to Klay. Who would have ever guessed that 6 months ago when he was projected to go mid 2nd round?[/snark]
