GM kingspeed - Hi this is the Blazers. I'll offer you Jake Layman for KD. He made 7 threes against you guys in 2016 he's better than KD by far. It's not close, you won't make the playoffs without Jake Layman.

    Warriors GM - ... ?? ...

GM kingspeed - on second thought, no I won't trade you Jake Layman. He's better than KD and we don't need him. Have fun being a trash organization who can never win a championship. You guys aren't even good enough to make the playoffs.

    Warriors GM - ... ?? ...

Isn't this what we were all assuming would happen? Trade a player who was not playing to get under the luxury cap? You guys act surprised. I liked Noah, but Collins beat him out. Now they can go back over the luxury tax this summer and not be a repeat offenders. Resign Napier and Davis.

I just don't like that Lacob narrative of Warriors management being a group of savants who are light years ahead of all the other monkeys found on other teams.

What a cluster fuck. I'm sure Dame is thrilled. Two moves to undo mistakes where we just give away so called assets

Man. If we don't make the playoffs, Neil is gone. In fact, now that I think about it, he's just gone.

Instead they decided to spend that on Evan Turner and Meyers Leonard instead. Just typical Olshey being terrible at his job.

Appreciate that. I am a 50 year old non-techy. And you are welcome for the video. I had to see if the guy really existed.

It's a financial move because Neil put them in a place where they had to make a move like this to get under the cap. Gave away Crabbe, now gives away Vonleh, and in Noah's case, had to pay cash to do so.

I agree with you, but this starts at the top with Paul Allen. When you have to "launch an investigation" on your own team to find out basic things about why they suck, when everyone around you knows what the problem is just by looking at the situation, then you know that you are seriously out of touch with your franchise.

This doesn't bode well for us. Fuck Neil and his goddamn shitty trades, but fuck Allen for allowing it to happen with such incompetence.

It could have been worse, at least he didn't trade Lillard and CJ for Griffin and DeAndre.

We spent far too much last offseason and still have not paid the luxury tax. Not exciting, but it was the right move going forward.

The free agent market is not going to be lucrative this coming offseason so we might be able to sign our free agents without going into the luxury tax too far. Turner, Leonard, and Harkless will all be on two year deals. Still not ideal but we have better flexibility with trades and/or buyouts.

Good luck to Noah. I hope he does well in Chicago. Aminu is clearly better and PF is his best position. Collins is going to need minutes and I have higher hopes for Swanigan than I did for Vonleh. We have all three of those guys on good deals so IMO he was just the odd guy out.

Got under the cap...Noah gets to play in Chicago and the Batum trade is history now...we got rights to a Euro stash player and a trade exception while avoiding the repeater tax....I'm sure other guys were offered up but no takers...it was probably Olshey's last option on the table.

I liked Noah and he seemed to play well with Nurk. I really don’t know what happened. The organization must have soured on him somehow.
