Horrific bloodcurdling shrieking. Ran outside in stocking feet. Cat down the street wandered into our yard and Lucia had to let the cat know whose territory this is. No physical contact made. Lucia's howls enough to scare anyone off. Cats are sensible. They shriek and howl. They don't get assault weapons and slaughter each other.
My kids claim they do at school all the time. They tell their friends they prefer golden retrievers and siamese cats...
Lucia chased that other cat away again today. Hopefully the cat will get the message. A pretty inoffensive looking black cat. But Lucia is queen of her domain and make no mistake about it.
Possibly. But she is looking for love in the wrong place. Lucia is a solitary queen. She accepts her faithful human servant.
Well i do think they lick more than suck, but either way its always a slobbery mess! And they are so needy.
I've been all over Asia and never seen anyone eat cats or heard of it...not domestic cats...old men do eat tiger penis to do the viagra thing but the pets they will eat in northern china and korea are dogs....in southern asia poor people may barbeque anything they can catch but the Chinese don't practice eating cats at all other than the tiger penis thing and that's illegal...Cats are revered in most of asia. People used to rumor that shish kabobs on the street in Vietnam and the Phillipines were made from horse meat or monkey meat, etc...they'd smother it in hot sauce and no one would know it wasn't pork or beef
Dog meat has been eaten in many cultures. We react with revulsion because we think of dogs as pets. I am unaware of any culture that regularly eats cats (not talking about famine when people will eat anything).
In the frozen northlands of China, Mongolia, Manchuria and Korea they consider dog meat to be a super "yang" food source.it's a winter food....it is supposed to heat the body more than other meats...they also prefer to eat certain dogs more than others....don't remember which but I think they avoid eating certain types of dogs.

With an entire house to choose from, Lucia at some point last night upchucked a hairball on the sheets. I wasn't aware until I woke up on top of it. Ugh. Normally change out sheets on Sunday but decided a day early. Asked Lucia to kindly use the floor.
I'm admittedly not a cat person, however, five cats now own me. Girlfriend has two, and they're great "kitkats", as she calls them. I stay over there about 50% of the time so they're finally comfortable with me. My brother and I bought a house together in March, a d that came with three cats.. luckily I can completely section off my "wing" of the house. That's how I prefer the cats I live with, not in my room... They are good cats and my brother and his girlfriend are great owners, so that helps. If I was ever going to get a cat, and I've thought about it, it would have to be a mostly outside cat.
