Devils v Rangers Game 6

Have to be fair and give the Devs credit, since a pretty even game 3 the Devs have really dominated us, but the fact that we have 3 goals in 10 + periods is still a joke, and is on us as well. We are best in the NHL in GAA in the playoffs - and worst in GPG in the playoffs. Typical Rangers sadly, cannot score.

It is amazing - Panarin, Laf, Z all 0 goals. Tro, Chytil, Kane, Kakko 1 goal each. And the 4th line ZERO points. Just awful.

 

What game clinching goal Emily? The game is tied. She is such an idiot.

 

It almost feels as if they can get to a game 7 they'd have a big outburst.

 

I will be opposite of most, I would not move Kakko or Lafreniere - not at all. What I would actually do is put them in the top 6, where they belong. They, along with Chytil, are totally in the wrong spot as a 3rd line. Those are all top 6 players skill/game wise. Having them as your 3rd line, instead of a FO specialist C, and some gritty grinding 3rd line wingers, is part of the issue with this team - too top heavy.

I think if you want to mix it up and change the identity, you start with moving those guys into the top 6, and playing a real NHL 3rd line. Not a replica of a finesse top 6 line as your 3rd line.

 

They should've done it this year but they went out and got trocheck. Later, went out and got Tara AND Kane.lol

 

Rangers can still win this series. I think sometimes a lucky deflection goal can get you going.

Gotta continue to get Mika on the seam pass 1-timer on PP. That is one thing that has hurt them with Kane they forgot one of best PP options. That 1 timer is lethal.

 

I don't really see it with Kakko even in a top 6 role but we haven't seen him there all that much either so who knows. Unlikely they give up on either given their bridge salaries too.
