Look at the thread about his signing and how it was almost unanimous immediately that it was a stupid signing. http://www.sportstwo.com/threads/evan-turner-becomes-a-blazer.302179/
Again: complaining 100% changes things. From tweets to radio interviews to interactions with the fans. Olshey listens, Stotts listens, ET listens. Things get back to these guys and impact them. Hell, ET called a fan a derogatory term during a game last season because the guy got in his head. You don't think he hears the grumbles at games when he enters/misses/turns the ball over? He does and now he is malfunctioning before our very eyes, while his minutes continue to plummet...
You obviously are unfamiliar with the Boss: Yeah, just sitting back trying to recapture Little of the glory of, well time slips away And leaves you with nothing mister but Boring stories of Glory days well they'll pass you by Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye Glory days, glory days
I was merely responding to the poster about his college career. I didn't originally bring it into the discussion
Sorry, i have never felt complaining in a forum accomplishes much if anything in regards to the Blazers decisions or performance. It might make you feel better, but that's about it. I have heard Lillard, McCollum and Stottss pretty much say the same as well as other players and coaches in the NBA.
Half of your posts complain about "negative" posters, or mention "board rules," which no one ever discussed or knew about until you showed up last summer. Do you think these posts change anything?
I'm going to piggyback on what @jlprk just said to mention that you're always asking people's opinions but are 100%(!!!!!!) unswayable, therefore one can only assume that you're being rhetorical and therefore simply asking to antagonize. The amount of pushback you encounter seconds, thirds, fourths, and on and ons this notion. Remember what I've said since Oregonlive: take baby steps, ie start small and you too can have a conversation that goes both ways. You can do it! Take a chance! You pick the topic, or how about Evan Turner?!?
This fucking dude is playing his worst basketball of his garbage career right now, i hate Stotts for playing him as much as i hate Evan garbage turner. Seriously, this dude is driving me fucking crazy when he's on the court
rather see Anfernee get some of his minutes and get experience, can't be worse than what we are seeing from ET
Agreed. He had a couple wicked passes in that last game. Im fully confident that he can bring what ET has brought so far.
We should start a gofund me to give to the Blazers, so they cna use the funds to add to a Turner trade. "Here. Here is this pot we collected. We will give it to you if you just take this guy. We donlt need anything in return. He is a great teammate. Honest. We hate to see him go, but its just about our cap situation is all. Nothing else."
Turner needs to just play the game. Seems like he is always trying to get that spectacular assist or break down a guy way to fast for him. Leads to head scratching turnovers at very bad times. You just can't have those kinds of plays in the playoffs and even more so on the road in the playoffs. Play within the game and make someone else the hero.
