Need a few more of these and we're gonna be OK with our injuries. Wizards will have a stretch of 14 days in between games. As much as I wanna watch the Blazers, I am perfectly fine with that kinda hiatus.

After having a week off blazers get blown out by knicks.....Stotts “ we are rusty have not found our rhythm “ if this happens somebody needs to body slam stotts. Im all fine getting rest and get our group more practice, which gives Lillard nice room to recharge his batteries to play 40 min for next 1 month. This team better beat knicks....

The reason for hoping for an improved team is the outrageous hope that Stotts will come up with new plans/schemes to adjust to the changed personnel and that with more time for the reduced team to work together, they'll actually function more like a team.

I know. Outrageous hope but we are, after all, Blazer fans. Sometimes feels kinda like being a Cubs fan - always full of hope but inevitably fall short of the desired goal.

At the end of the day all teams have to play 72 games. Better we play majority of those games with full squad unless we tank.

No, I am hoping that some how, some way, coaches might decide to start doing their job.

No, I am hoping that some how, some way, coaches might decide to start doing their job.

And they are lucky I am not coaching them. I would have had a full practice Wednesday night, focusing on tweaking the offense to include Roco and Jones; figuring out how to get Trent and Melo to pass more. Then I would have had two a days on Thursday and Friday. Offense in the morning, defense in the afternoons. Light practice Saturday. A great opportunity wasted if they didn't do that.

Some articles say that the more games skipped now, the harder it will be to fit them into the time remaining. Teams may end up with different numbers of games--some 72, some fewer.
