as expected. Good news one less game without CJ and Nurk, Bad news: no Blazers basketball again
Ok cool more time for CJ and Nurk to rest
Need a few more of these and we're gonna be OK with our injuries. Wizards will have a stretch of 14 days in between games. As much as I wanna watch the Blazers, I am perfectly fine with that kinda hiatus.
Great. more time for the coaches to develop a decent offensive system to accommodate new players and account for players out long term and to teach some defense.
Hopefully they're using this time to actually add some wrinkles to the defense/offense.
I was going to say the same thing, but continue having a hard time keeping a straight face.
Pretty sad so many people happy about their team not playing.
Hopefully, it gives them some time for practice and gaining some continuity, with a revised starting 5.
I'll be expecting some really improved play on Sunday!
Could be construed as more than erring on the side of caution imo: http://www.sportstwo.com/threads/po...-blazers-postponed.361885/page-3#post-5081948
How come, are our 3 missing starters returning?
3? Who now?
I assumed coming into camp , Collins would be our starting PF.
Covid just saved Stotts from another blowout.
After having a week off blazers get blown out by knicks.....Stotts “ we are rusty have not found our rhythm “ if this happens somebody needs to body slam stotts. Im all fine getting rest and get our group more practice, which gives Lillard nice room to recharge his batteries to play 40 min for next 1 month. This team better beat knicks....
The reason for hoping for an improved team is the outrageous hope that Stotts will come up with new plans/schemes to adjust to the changed personnel and that with more time for the reduced team to work together, they'll actually function more like a team.
I know. Outrageous hope but we are, after all, Blazer fans. Sometimes feels kinda like being a Cubs fan - always full of hope but inevitably fall short of the desired goal.
And gave Neil another excuse.
Shouldn't they be healthy by Sunday?
