Go ahead and add the tenth to that list as well. Absolutely pathetic.

good try, just couldn't get the big knocks. Seattle left 15 runners on base.

Nine left on base on the last 3 innings. Shit o’dear that is pathetic.

I honestly can't tell you the last time I've ever heard a team leaving the bases loaded in 3 consecutive innings ever.

But I wouldn't be surprised if this putrid joke of a lineup is the first to ever do it.

    2 fouled pop ups
    2 weak grounders
    3 strikeouts
    2 cans of corn
    = hire better coaches

the Padres 100m payroll reduction is not helping them against Seattle.

Munoz starting the ninth wild really wasn't what I wanted to walk into my house and turn on, but I'll take the W. Phew!

Machado took his shades off after first pitch from Munoz. 98mph heater right down the pipe, he never even saw it. Then Manny almost got plunked. He definitely saw that fastball.

just filthy stuff. The only Munoz pitch that left the infield was a slider that caught too much plate.

Is Ohtani the best player in the MLB right now?

If anything, whoever is in the conversation at best will be 1a to Ohtani.

The conversation to be had is best pitcher this year. That can go to a lot of different players, and Skenes is 100% in that conversation. It's wild.

It's also wild our 10 game lead from mid June is down to 1 game.

Last night can go fuck itself.

I don't follow baseball as much as some of you. I know he's a decent pitcher, but the dude just homered for the Dodgers when I asked that.

Seems he's both a great batter, and pitcher as well. That's not very common in baseball, right?

It's very rare. Pitchers hit MAYBE .100 when they were allowed to hit.

Ohtani is a unicorn. He's the Babe Ruth of our generation.

If you want a good laugh AND to understand how rare it is for pitchers to hit home runs, YouTube Bartolo Colon homerun, and additionally, Felix Hernandez home run. The reaction of the bench and crowd should give you some insight lol

BTW, ohtani is considered the best pitcher in the league.

He is just hitting this year though cause of a surgery he had.

Baseball is a popular sport in both Japan and Korea.

I was just wondering today if Baseball is a sport at the Olympics. If it is, funny you don't hear about it much at all.

    Why isn't it? Is it?

I bet Ohtani is a hero in Japan.

Baseball just made their own Olympics cause they aren't gonna take MLB players out of the middle of the season for the summer Olympics.

It's called the World Baseball Classic. It's fantastic and always fun to watch cause the crowds are hyyyyped (think soccer fans from across the pond type of hype, that's how it is)

Ohtani is a god in his home country. Lol
