I’m happy to get rid of Robbie although now there are no lefties in the rotation. Desclafani was told the five starters that finished last season will be the rotation again next season, so he will play the flexen role. I really like the starting rotation.

Mitch is so injury prone but he was one of my favorite players so glad to have him back.

caballero for Raley is interesting. Raley is gonna platoon with Calzone, Mitch, Dylan Moore and hopefully a FA like Soler. It would be much better to get every day outfielders than this platoon shit.

It looks like Rojas is gonna be the starting 2nd basemen on opening day. Not sure if that’s gonna be good enough tbh. Not that cabby is much better, but he’s a perfect player for the Rays lol.

ownership is so bad I don’t even want to spend any money on gear or tickets. Trading Geno for a salary dump was the last straw

Yes, very happy ray is gone. But these moves suck.

I'd take raley over moore. I'm done with the platoon shit too.

I never buy team shit so it's not effect. They don't need my money so I won't give it

I’m liking this move. Gabriel Gonzalez is the “prize” for the Twins. He had a great first year in the system, but he’s not a can’t miss prospect or anything like that. Topa had a decent year but he can be replaced especially with this the pitching staff.

Polanco is on the downside of his career but he’s still a pretty good player. I would take him over Rojas at 2b if he can stay healthy

I'm not mad about this move either. Topa was nice but like you said, can be replaced. Still don't understand wtf we're doing without Geno on the corner. Dumb.

Dipoto is cooking right now. Santos has really good stuff and is under control for 5 years. I could see him becoming the closer one day since Munoz didn’t look comfortable there for whatever reason.

without spending money I like what they’ve done (except the Geno trade). Only one semi high rated prospect (gabby Gonzalez) has been traded to do it

I know it’s early, but does anybody think the Mariners will make the playoffs this year?

I agree but it still is early yet. Need contact hitters. Small ball.

That's all I ask for. Contact. Make good contact. Spray the ball. But holy fuck I'm so tired of boom or bust hitters.

The strikeouts drive me insane too. That Julio walk off got my juices flowing though. Excited for the season!

Jared Kelenic hitting .545 in Atlanta. It's amazing what better coaches can teach.

is Dylan Moore a future president of the Mariners? How is he still getting AB's in a pro uniform?

Brutally bad offense. Not terribly encouraging but it is early. If you want to win you have to have stars. Not rocket science. Mariners' owner is cheapskate. Never win with a penny pincher at the helm. An owner has to want to win, for ego if nothing else.

Baseball is such a grind but hard to get excited about a lineup that the front office ignored all off season. Glaring holes all over the place and they just went along their merry way without addressing any of those needs.

Sacramento is renting the A's for 3 seasons. The Vegas stadium hit delays, and won't be ready for awhile. Everyone in Sac-Town is excited. They have a very nice minor league stadium.
