On Courtside, they said Blazers employees aren't allowed to talk free agency until July 6th at 9am. So maybe that's when we'll hear about the big deal. We have a deadline now.

That's the league's date and time for the end of free agency week. It's not a date invented only for the Blazers.

The July moratorium – which lasts from 12:01am Eastern time on July 1 until 12:00pm on July 6 – essentially puts a freeze on most transactions

------------
July 6
•July moratorium ends (11:00am CT)
•Teams can begin officially signing players, extending players, and completing trades.
•The two-day period for matching an RFA offer sheet signed during the moratorium begins.

T minus 11 hours. Wake up Olshey.

I'm sick of being a feeder team. That's a team that is like a minor league team in baseball. You develop the young talent, only to see it leave, and help another franchise seek it's ultimate goal. The Blazers, may, or may not, win a championship, but I sure as hell, don't want them to trade our BEST player to the most hated rival in our history. That idea is complete rubbish. I remember Clyde being traded to Houston for Otis' I don't care anymore" Thorpe. Talk about a kick to the jewels. Now Clyde, still the Blazers All Time Scorer, acts like he never played in Portland. Makes me sick when I watch the Houston/Blazers game on League Pass, and it's Houston's Broadcast team, and listening to Drexler talk is bloody awful. It's like he never played for the Blazers. It's a gut punch every time. I want to see Dame wipe Drexler off EVERY major category in the Blazers record books PERIOD! Continue trying to acquire talent around Dame, and see it out. If it's successful, FANTASTIC!! If not, at least the organization tried. NO MORE BEING OTHER TEAM'S SUPPLY SYSTEM. Make the Blazers great, or die trying.

I am not old enough to remember all the things that happened with Clyde (I remember watching him), but why does he seem to hate the Blazers so much??? I don’t get it.

Me neither, and it truly is infuriating. He's always like "We"(Houston), are better than them(Blazers), and that was before CP3 came to town. I was like "Them", serious? You were "Them". Act like they mean something to you. He continues the rhetoric today. I understand you work for the Rockets, but it's OK to show some love for the team you played your best years for.

Yeah I don’t get it. Least Dame sunk their battle ship a few years ago that felt good.

That was a special moment. And more will come as long as the Blazers don't succumb to the LA Media Whores wishes.

He never wanted to play in Portland in the first place.

Olshey has 9 hours. He doesn't care. The board has given up on him and doesn't care. No suspense. Might as well talk about...

Sabonis has visited Portland exactly one time since he left. (It was for business, not because he wanted to.)

Your fake deadline for having to do something is meaningless.

6 hours, can't sleep due to the suspense. I phoned and said I'm the "As the World Turns" casting agent. Olshey woke right up! He has vocal talent. When he's excited, he talks in a Bugs Bunny voice! I had to calm him down.

How often does Roy show any love for Portland? Very few players actually give a wet fart about their fans, communities, or anybody else. Clyde is just more open about it than most.

Lillard is being traded to the Lakers. I have inside sources.

Anyone know where I can listen to this live?

I'll just read a recap.

It will be Neil talking about how tough the market is, but that we have maintained flexibility going forward. He'll mansplain his moves to the whimpy media. Announce the moves that have already been made, mention that we will be active at the deadline. And etc.
