You can go back and change protections.
Seems like a great trade for Portland.
Seems like it moved @RonBrewer's needle...
When are you going to send us Siakam?
Hahahah i was going to say the exact same thing but passed. Hilarious.
We got rid of our worst 3 defensive problems,
Stotts, Kanter, Melo
We have received 2 great defensive solutions,
Love the trade. We're going to be a lot better defensively next year!
no personal insults!
This is probably the best off-season we could've hoped for without trading C.J.
- Billups is gonna be great, in my opinion
- Norm re-signed on a really good contract
- Nance is a great get. He's a better version of Aaron Gordon
- Zeller is a steal on a minimum contract
- Greg Brown is looking like a steal at 43
I think we're a top 4 seed next season.
this and we still have 2 empty roster spots...I'm diggin this offseason so far..
Maybe Olshey has larger nards than many of you think! What if he pulls a block buster involving Dame? I hope that doesn't happen but if he knows its going to be hard, to put Dame in a positions to contend, maybe he sends him East for another Super Star where he may contend and that buys him a few more years? What if Philly through in one of their youngster guards along with Simmons? What if Miami wanted Dame bad enough to trade Butler, and Butler was cool with it? Is Neil capable of such, heresy?
Brown is going to be a huge surprise.
I understand after rumors of Dame potentially being unhappy why people think about his reaction to trades, but…
I think people should stop thinking they are Damian Lillard and know what he’s thinking. I highly doubt Dame is going to look at it negatively until he sees it.
Now if it is a big flop and doesn’t seem to be working then that is a different story. But a winner mentality says “Let’s see what we can do as a team” and not “these guys suck, we won’t win games”.
think top 4 is a stretch unless Ant/Nas pop because I don't know who we would replace. I like the Billups hiring as well and thought anyone was an upgrade over Terry, but he's going to have growing pains.
I still have it like this:
Tier 1: UTA, LAL, PHX
Tier 2: GSW (the obvious wildcard here)
Tier 3: POR/DEN/DAL/LAC
Tier 4: NOP/MEM/SAC
Tier 5: who cares...
I’m fairly impartial at this point. If it’s gonna be like watching a train wreck it’s going to be like watching a train wreck. I’m preferring to go into it glass half full. We underperformed last year; so I’m hopeful we won’t see some of the mistakes and dropped games we saw during last season.
Consistency is what we need more than anything. If these guys can be consistent for us then we shall see.
No reason to think some of our acquisitions can’t perform at or above their career best with this team.
Zeller has never had a winning opportunity.
Larry Nance Jr is kind of the same right? Wasn’t he part of the LBJ situation?
I think i'd still take Denver over us (Porter Jr is going to get better and better). The Clips if they had Kawhi, but they won't next year. I'd put us at about 5.
Nance at center is more about his ability there than Zellers inability. Zeller is a good player but nance has really thrived when playing small ball 5. Draymond lite.
… it’s time fellas … and ladies
fuckin do ittttt
Without Murray I'd put us in the same tier. It's what makes our loss last year in round one even more frustrating
I am 100% on board with this.
