Nearly drops a triple double on the suns. Granted it's the suns, who look like a glorfied g-league team but still. He's still not as good as I was lead to believe by the hype train.
Against the Suns, which they barely beat, when he had the lowest +/- of all starters. Dude is just a stat stuffer at best.
I've never understood people that don't give props for people who put up numbers no matter what the situation. A triple double on any level is tough to do, I don't care what the comp is. There were a 97% (guess) of NBA players out there who have NEVER got a triple double EVER. I bet they tried to though. I don't care who it is, props to ANY player who gets a triple double. Shit, Westbrook had more triple doubles LAST season alone than 30 something nba teams have ever had in the ENTIRE TEAM HISTORY! Think about that. Call it what you want, thats getting shit done.
You do realize there's no difference in magnitude between the 9th and 10th rebound and the 10th and 11th?
His best trait is seeing the floor, decision making, running the offense. I've been on his bandwagon since the first time I saw him. Compared him to Stockton - taller, more athletic, but not as pure a shooter - and I still stand by this assessment
30 something NBA teams? Your math is whack, FAMS!! Clarify! Check yo' self before you wreck yo, self.
I thought about it and I think that after posting that what I’d call it is an embarrassing statement.
Kuzma was the gem of that draft for the Lakers. I watched him a lot at Utah, never thought early on he could be as good as he is. But, he might have star potential at the hybrid 4 spot.
To be fair, Lillard doesn't demand his teammates to block out for him so he can stat stuff his way to a triple double though either.
When I was coaching, if one of my kids did what he did at 2:06 I'd take him out and give him a talking to.
