His rebounding is elite for his size/position. Great understanding of positioning (boxing out, etc) and really anticipates where the ball is going to bounce. Perfect compliment for Dame and CJ offensively as well with his slashing.

    He's just a 3pt shot away.

His price tag went up this summer.

It wouldn't at all surprise me if NY threw him a stupid contract.

He's been awesome. Reminds me of Darius Miles first year here in a good way. Hopefully thats all he has similar with Miles.

I swear. I can't believe St. Johns has never won a national championship. They always seem to produce talent.

If he shows up bigtime in the playoffs someone is going to throw him a huge contract especially two weeks after the start of FA and there are 15 teams with 20+ million and no top tier FA left.

I love the way Harkless goes to the rim and pounds in other people's shots. Every team needs a high-flier who can do that.

Not if we sign Larry Sanders. He'll be cheap.

Harkless has really flipped the switch since entering the starting line-up.

A lot of guys tend to play in spurts/stand and watch plays - Harkless is always moving -
    I'm loving his hustle play!

Lock this guy up Pronto; I'd like to see him become a long term Blazer!

Last time I saw an appreciation thread for a player, he was no longer on the team. Did you just create a Jinxspeed Stren????

    Lovin' Harkless.

However, he does have his problems. When not motivated, he drifts out there. He has absolutely zero midrange game.

That being said, it seems like coach has convinced him to be a hustle player, and it's superworking. He's not taking shots he's not comfortable with. He's doing it at both ends. Prototypical NBA body/athleticism, and he's making great use of it.

20 pts, 16 rebounds last night - awesome.

Small sample size but in three games as a starter:

    16.3 ppg | 10 rpg | 53 fg% | 35 3p%

Half. I changed to 4 assists per. :), plus I said what he can become. So he is already halfway there and kicked my ass in rebounds. :)

Ill take 8 more rebounds for two less assists.

    That's only in April.

For the season through 11 games as a starter:
    27 mpg, 13.2 pts, 7.5 rebs, 1.2 asts, 1.1 stls, 0.8 blks on 53% FG, 30% 3pt

We are also 8-3 in these games that he starts. That's more than just an outlier due to low sample size. Dude is ballin out when given a chance.
