Me too. I used to be pissed when the home telecast wasn't on. Now I find myself watching the opposing broadcast on purpose.
The bench was the big disappointment this season. ET was never an off the bench scoring type. Crabbe didn't shoot and score enough. Ed Davis fell off a cliff. Leonard played the season with nagging injuries and didn't make the expected next step. Aminu ended up on the bench, played hurt, never recovered. The 2nd unit was downright brutal. The really good news is that: ET is starting, where I think he belongs. Vonleh looks like a legit NBA player and should contribute for years to come. I think he's going to show marked improvement the next couple of seasons, especially next to Nurk. Napier is proving to be an adequate rotation player.
I don't think the team would play him in the summer league again because he seems like he's past that, but I do believe if Vonleh would return to the summer league he would finally dominate the competition like how the team was hoping he would last time.
