Right, because Dame suddenly become a lob monster under Chauncy with multiple high jumpers on the roster including Sharpe, Ant and Keon...

and this, girls and boys, is how you throw the gauntlet for a snark for snark duel.

Well, Chauncey is probably a worse coach than Stotts. Dame still can do whatever he wants.

some things are easier said than done. Thats why writers have it easy! :)

Im a musician and i can say i can play any scale out there without missing a note, but that doesn't mean i can actually do it with consistent success.
Lobbing the ball is more like a pass than a shot. so to me the eye test says passing guards will be better at lobbing than shooting guards.
Adding that up, I'm not sure it would help to have Dame tossing lobs.
I coole see Dame struggling because he is a sharpshooter. Tossing anything close to the rim means he needs to put the shot aside. Im thinking thats actually fairly hard for him.

Appreciate that. You can always butt in, this is an open message board! Plus, you added facts to the conversation, so bonus points there!

Like many Blazer related podcasts and shows, I gave that one a fair shot, but felt it was lacking in a few important areas, and haven't tuned in a while. I have zero problem with people doing their own thing and I don't wish them to fail, but it also doesn't mean when they share their bad takes there shouldn't be push back.

The problem with blazers there to busy throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. This been happening for awhile. It's looks like the GM don't have clear picture what kind of team he wants. Other problems they can't get any great players to come here so you can throw that out of the window. If you trade then hopefully you go after guys you really want. Instead looking at our players in contract year we all sudden we need trade or lose them. Basically if your getting players that actually fit and you get rid of them in the off season you basically lost that player that you traded in off anyway. Blazers need to be smarter about what fits on this team. I haven't watch them play to much because of the blackouts for there games in my area. But the last game show me this team is not well coach. Due they don't play together on either side of the ball. You got one or sometimes 2 even looking to score and defensely you got two players actually putting effort to play that end. Majority of these players don't need to be on this team next year. You can't continue make patch work in your signing or trade expect to be successful. They say they have a clear picture what they wanted to do I don't see it not at this time. First to get that you need a owner going to put out bucks and a GM and a coach that has a vision what kind of team they want built.

You'll have to read some of the thread.

Let me know when you get to the gem that someone (I won't use their name to embarrass them) thought Stotts was holding Derrick Jones Jr back. Multiple seasons later, with different coaching and more experience, he's basically the same player.

Lots of reaching and bad assumptions in those two threads and that's just the tip of the iceburg

Like most threads though right?
i mean, 23 wins, 3rd in the west, roco a defensive difference maker, shaedon rookie of the year and second best player on the roster by year end, utah being a lottery team.

These are all thing i have read or said over the years in various threads.

the thing people love to forget about predictions and opinions. Only one scenario can make it right, a plethora of ways it could be wrong.
More often than not, most predictions aRe wrong. If this wasnt true, there would be no gambling, because bookies wouldn't make money and casinos would lose.
So before we are sooo quick to call others out, it might be good to make sure one doesn't have a closet fully of inaccurate skeletons in their own home, because more than likely, they have them.

You've got to be fucking kidding me. That post was about as obvious as a joke as you can get, but you know that. The post before this of mine that you're responding to literally says "if you hire the right person."
If I had to guess who would be here nitpicking what we say while ignoring context, it'd be him. It's funny to see I'm not the only one who notices it. Context and basketball are tough!

Well said, but let this guy obsess over us, I enjoy it.

We're talking about the dude who pawned off his bet to someone (I think?) and I don't remember who and can't figure it out. Dude won't message me about it but will post about it instead. I guess he thinks I have all day to think about him or remember his tribulations? I'm sure he'd love that.
