That's what draft picks are too. Especially in the era of " One & Done". But the Blazers went from hamstrung to a lot of flexibility. At least we can now be wishful.

What players are going to sign here that are better than what we had. Portland is a market where you need to acquire talent via trades.

KP + scraps for Dinwiddie/Harrell/Holiday, essentially.

    Wizards doing things.

Not sure why they just wouldn't tank with Beal out though.

I hope you're right on your first point but on the second point... no I don't want to trade Dame now... I want to see what happens and then trade Dame if we aren't going to compete for a while.

Yep. Which is a reason it is pointless to hold Dame hostage. Trade him and go full rebuild.

File this one under "I'll believe it when I see it." If he comes out, he's going 4-8. Pray he comes out and that the Blazers picks put them into a position to get those two players, regardless of what you think Sharpe might do. Those two players have the best chance to make the Blazers interesting and good next year and very strong contenders for years to come.

you dont understand, dame lillard, simons, little & nurk are good fit together and if we can nab adequate power forward, were gonna have well balanced team

i cannot emphasize enough how much balance/fit matter, we didnt have that so far, simons is better fit than cj mccollum and little is better fit than powell, we all know dame & nurk have great chemistry and we saw that simons & nurk are developing great chemistry and little worked with them well too... i really dont understand the pesimism

For those who didn't know, Bertans is still owed about 3 yrs, 50 mil on his deal while producing 5 pts and 2 rebs per game.

    WTF is Dallas doing?

Unless they have another deal lined up for Brunson, this is really stupid team-building around Luka. I approve.

Yeah, I dunno why Dallas would want that. Luka wanted KP gone?

Oh shit! Legler just said that people call Porzingis the unicorn because he does so many rare things but he should be called the unicorn because you never see him.
