AT talkin' the "C" word.... https://www.nbcsports.com/northwest/video/tolliver-expects-blazers-compete-title
See here is the thing. A number of people have said this. We said it the day the schedule came out. But invariably there are those who are thinking 13-7 or 14-6. Then there are the ones who have said 10-10 but will say "But it's the WAY they are losing that has me worried". A 10 - 10 start will not be looked at as a good start by most. It will be even worse when ESPN airs and Around the Horn or PTI are saying that the Blazers are struggling with the new additions after reaching the WCF's last year. Then they will go on and on again how it will take the Clippers and Lakers a month or two to get all the new additions working well together. Of course they won't give the Blazers the same credit. At that point things around here might get tough to read. But in the end barring major injuries the Blazers will rise to the top again this year.

Slightly different way of getting there.
Can't say i don't hope you are right but seriously you have them winning the fourth game in five nights on the road and the second of a B2B on the first night back from a road trip. You have them amassing a 8-4 record on the road to start the season with a team that will still be trying to figure things out? This would be essentially putting then on pace to win a chip in the first two months.
You comment so much on what others may hypothetically think... its like every post. 10-10 with this schedule will be fine. I dint know who you think youre talking for.
You didn't actually read the thread now did you? There are predictions from 20-0, 19-1 (Obviously a joke) to 11-9. Pretty much everything in between. So no this is not what others "hypothetically' think. And again. This isn't about you. If you agree then say so. If not feel free to disagree. Now as far as "Like Every Post" goes. You obviously are not paying attention.
yes. 6-14. Sorry, but I think they are really going to stumble out of the block. I feel like Whiteside is going to be less than half as effective as Kanter was. Collins will be inconsistent and the rest of the team will need time to gel. Time they won’t get in the first 20 games. Our best hope is to squeak into the playoffs, have Nurk back and be the team nobody wants to play. Unless they can turn Whiteside into a star 4 and move Collins to 5 until Nurk comes back.
