God, you take good pictures! Just in case no one ever told you so.

 

I love bamboo.
My cousin and his mother planted some bamboo in their yard that I thought looked wonderful and made me feel jealous when I was about 9 or 10, too young to plant my own. They treated it like a weed saying it runs wild if you're not careful and makes you do a lot of extra work to keep it controlled.
