The Mavs are a team that might be interested in Oladipo. I wonder if the Blazers, Heat and Mavs could maybe work something out?

A healthy Lonzo Ball is indeed the PERFECT complement... for Dame. (So I guess that would mean Anfernee as well.) Tall enough to guard SG, great PG skills, but doesn't need to have the ball and shoots a high percentage from 3.
But does a healthy Lonzo Ball exist?

If I were a member of the thread police (those narcs!) I would point out that there's a lot of "wouldn't it be cool if this happened" and not enough "this is a real thing that GMs are discussing". I realize it's a thin line, but there's "rumors" and there's "pulling stuff out of your ass"

I can’t see this thread and am going to start a Trade Rumor thread myself.

I'm not a big fan of multiple threads covering the same thing but at this time of year I understand if there is one thread for reported rumors with a link and discussing those, one thread for actual deals that go down and discussing those and one thread for just pulling trades out of your ass that you would like to see happen.

It's the trade deadline so as long as there isn't a thread for every trade idea someone has, every trade that goes down or every rumor a reporter puts out there... I'll take a little clutter.

Why does LAL want another forward when that's BY FAR their strongest position(s)?

Because like their roster, they are redundant.

I'd rather start Hashimora than Bryant. The Bryant you saw against us recently isn't the real Bryant. They got rid of a shit player for a starting PF.

I wish we could slide Grant to the 3 and find a starting PF for shit players.

    Key point from this story:
"Interestingly, so much has been made about the haul of draft picks Anunoby could possibly return. If that’s what the Raptors want, they shouldn’t have trouble getting it in this market. But unless they opt to trade Siakam and start a full rebuild, which seems unlikely, dealing Anunoby for picks would be counterintuitive. As long as Siakam and VanVleet – who will both be 29 before the end of the season – are in Toronto, the goal will be to maximize their prime years. The best way to do that would be to keep Anunoby or move him for a player, or players, who can help in the near term."

I guess we need another guard by that logic! I mean just because we have a glut of talent there doesn’t mean we don’t need more scoring! Im funny in that I tend to want to improve areas of weakness not have additional backups for areas of strength.

If i could get him for the right price it would Siakam and place him at PF and move Grant to SF
