I like the idea of trading back to 9 and 25. Picking Sochan at 9 and Terry at 25... that's a realistic dream scenario if San Antonio likes who falls to us and I could see them liking any of Murray, Sharpe or Daniels... I hope they don't like them all equally because then there won't be a reason for them to trade up to us. We could trade back to Collins and 16... I don't love Collins' fit with Grant but it wouldn't be a nightmare and we could get Duren or Mark Williams if one of them fell. Get some depth. If we knew we had a sign and trade destination for Nurk we could trade back to Randle and 11 and take Duren. I don't think that Nurk would go well with Grant and Randle but Duren has the athleticism to make that whole thing work. I guess trading back to 13 and 15 and having both Duren and Sochan drop to us would be fun... Duren and Ogbaji might be cool. I guess subbing in Mark Williams for Duren in either of those combos would work too.

Duren at 12. Hart, Dort, Winslow, and Duren would be real nice coming off the bench. I like that better than OG.

But if that can't happen, then yeah, the trade back to 13/15 makes a lot of sense.

So the trade machines don't have Grant on the team yet... what's our cap situation right now?

Could we trade 7 for 9/20/25 from the Spurs and then trade Bledsoe and 20/25 for Gordon Hayward/13/15.

Spurs get to move up and draft who they want. We take Sochan at 9.

Hornets get to shed Hayward and they get the 20th and 25th. We get 13 and 15. I'd try to either use those picks to move up and get Duren or take Eason and Terry with 13 and 15. Maybe Johnny Davis. There's a lot of intriguing guys that could be available in that range. Ideally I'd like to get Sochan and Duren though.
