You can do that research yourself and report back to us.
How many of them won 2 NPOY?

I know people can have dominant college careers and it doesn’t translate. I think you’ll be hard pressed to find someone that was as dominant as Edey with his size that was a complete flop.

That didn't work so well with Ha Seung-Jin 7'3" 305 lbs

I’d be shocked if we draft at 7 and 14.

Why do you think he’s not consensus 1st pick? Or even a lock to be a lottery pick?

It’s because the game has changed.

The game is so much more spread out, it’s constant switches to get mismatches. If you’re a slow, archaic big man that can’t move laterally, or leave the paint, you just won’t be effective in the league today.

Jokic is an outlier, because he poses a threat in a myriad of ways. Not just a pound it down in the paint Center.

It’s crazy how many draft analysts say Clingan is the best player in the draft.

if you stare at Sarr long enough he starts to look dicey. I get it.

same with everyone in this draft, pretty much.

I have a friend that says “Zers” quite a bit. Just can’t bring myself to use that one.

At Fort Stevens…..sipping on some Knob Creek, decent down here.
I say we draft Williams at 7 and Holland at 14.

Wiz - who would you consider at 7 & 14?

I’m in Mesa, Az. 102 degrees. My 16 y/O is getting ready to kick of on artificial turf in a UPSL soccer game. The artificial turf adds about 15 degrees they say. Sucking down some mighty fine H2O!

97 degrees just north of you in Fountain Hills, AZ. The elevation helps some. Flipping back and forth between the Finals and the Ducks baseball. Coffee is my drink of choice.

Luka Garza and Zach Edey were the only guys to win NPOY Junior and Senior years this century. Both are centers, so yes thats a good comp for Edey.

Can’t go wrong with a nice bourbon! If holland is available at 7 he should be the swing! Hope that he can develop a consistent jumper, seems like the ignite program stifled player progression more than it helped in terms of young talents.

Not surprisingly, Edey's speed, strength and agility numbers were all better than Garza's, despite being 6 inches taller and 50 pounds heavier.

One of the No Ceilings guys said this today, which surprised me - him being the one from that group that thinks Clingan is the best prospect this year.

I don't want to hear it lol.

Whether it's cost saving or trading up for Clingan they're both stupid moves. Package the 2RP's with Brogdon or Thybulle or whatever, but don't move off of a lottery pick, unless of course we're trading up for Sarr or Risacher.

I really don't know. I want the Blazers to draft wings though. Don't want Clingan at 7, that's for sure. But that's probably what will happen

Seems many think this. If the Blazers feel that way, I don't mind them moving up. Go after your guy.
