Well, of course my grilled bacon cheese burgers are the best! Five Guys fries are the worst I have ever had. Limp, greezy, I can actually squeeze them and grease drips out. Horrible. And that report comes from eating their fries at 3 different locations.
I've still yet to go there. Always the rule of thumb, though, wherever you eat that has a deep fryer: Try to go during off hours.
I ate their fries about 8 or 10 years ago. Also, I'm old and need my ration of grease. How do you think I keep this boyish figure.
I have eaten 5 times at 3 diff Five Guys. The meat was tasteless, the bun disintegrated and the fries limpy/greasy. I think people like it due to their ambiance. Most people relate good ambiance to good food. But their food is terrible.
Nothing deserves a rude reply except a rude remark. Rude remarks must be meant to be rude consciously.
Five guys cajun fries are amazing. I take back what I said about @Thatbpguy We may like @ABM more. But he needs to try five guys fries before we can definitively say.
I actually went to Five Guys today. Had the little bacon cheeseburger, Cajun fries, and the peanut butter milkshake. I was there around 2:30. Only person in the joint! Hence, made-to-order food. The burger was pretty good. Not the best I've had, but still tasty. The Cajun fries were very good. Very crispy and well seasoned. You'll see my pic...they were standing tall! (and plenty more fries in the paper bag, too boot!) The shake was very thick, creamy and great peanut butter flavor! All in all, I'll give the experience an 80+. Mainly, because I thought the hamburger was good, not great.
Is this the one on the corner of Powell and foster in SE? Super deluxe.. if so, I've heard so much good stuff about this place but the outside of it looks like an arctic circle lol. I may need to try this.
I ate here once. It was very good! So was the beer!
