Well, of course my grilled bacon cheese burgers are the best!

Five Guys fries are the worst I have ever had. Limp, greezy, I can actually squeeze them and grease drips out. Horrible. And that report comes from eating their fries at 3 different locations.

I've still yet to go there.

Always the rule of thumb, though, wherever you eat that has a deep fryer: Try to go during off hours.

I ate their fries about 8 or 10 years ago.
Also, I'm old and need my ration of grease. How do you think I keep this boyish figure.

I have eaten 5 times at 3 diff Five Guys. The meat was tasteless, the bun disintegrated and the fries limpy/greasy.

I think people like it due to their ambiance. Most people relate good ambiance to good food. But their food is terrible.

Grease is one of the 4 basic groups.

But there's good grease and bad grease...

Nothing deserves a rude reply except a rude remark. Rude remarks must be meant to be rude consciously.

Five guys cajun fries are amazing. I take back what I said about @Thatbpguy

We may like @ABM more. But he needs to try five guys fries before we can definitively say.

I actually went to Five Guys today. Had the little bacon cheeseburger, Cajun fries, and the peanut butter milkshake. I was there around 2:30. Only person in the joint! Hence, made-to-order food. The burger was pretty good. Not the best I've had, but still tasty. The Cajun fries were very good. Very crispy and well seasoned. You'll see my pic...they were standing tall! (and plenty more fries in the paper bag, too boot!) The shake was very thick, creamy and great peanut butter flavor! All in all, I'll give the experience an 80+. Mainly, because I thought the hamburger was good, not great.

The apostle Peter disagrees with you.

How do you know MZ's remark was meant to be rude consciously?

Is this the one on the corner of Powell and foster in SE? Super deluxe.. if so, I've heard so much good stuff about this place but the outside of it looks like an arctic circle lol. I may need to try this.

Foster Burger, Portland’s chef-driven burger bar and shake shack, has closed

Foster Burger, Southeast Portland’s chef-driven burger bar and shake shack, closed after service Sunday, July 7, to make room for an expansion of next door’s Thunderbird bar, owner Kurt Huffman told The Oregonian/OregonLive.

The restaurant, which opened on Southeast Foster Road near the end of 2009, was originally backed by a wild lineup of culinary stars, including Pok Pok chef Andy Ricker, former Sel Gris chef Daniel Mondok and budding ChefStable restaurateur Kurt Huffman. Willamette Week first reported the plan to close......

Managerial changes, upcoming restaurant prospects and a proposition made by next door neighbor Thunderbird Bar to buy the space convinced ownership to sell.
