You could't figure out that puck was in the net you stupid assholes. How many times has this team been screwed over by the stupid canucks in Canada who have the brain the size of a pea.

Re: Seriouslly, how stupid are these morons in Toronto

Plenty of other opportunities to score.

Re: Seriouslly, how stupid are these morons in Toronto

That was a horrific call that completely changed the game

Re: Seriouslly, how stupid are these morons in Toronto

What TV were you watching dump? I am assuming you had a look no one else did. Because every look I saw never showed the puck over the line. What were you watching that showed the puck over the line? Send that link to the guys in Toronto.

Re: Seriouslly, how stupid are these morons in Toronto

Again, logic says it was in, but where is the look that shows the whole puck clearly over the goal line?

Re: Seriouslly, how stupid are these morons in Toronto

You are missing the point Gravy. You have one f'n job to do. See if the puck was in the net. Obviously it was. However, as usual, their idiotic, anti-NY hatred comes thru in that crap country. I swear, I've never seen the Rangers get one decent call from those assholes in Toronto.

Re: Seriouslly, how stupid are these morons in Toronto

The puck came out from behind the line. If it didn't go in, how did it come out?

When he pulls his leg back out and the puck slides out with it that seems like it would be obvious. Maybe they didn't get that far on the video. The team just sucks right now anyway. They'll be lucky to squeak in now.

So you clearly saw the puck fully across the goal line dump? Seriously if you did send that to Toronto now. Show them they messed up. I didn't see that look. Cool that you did. Send it to Toronto.

Again why dont they have multiple lipstick cameras inside the net

Chuck, you know if it were reversed we would get screwed on it.

Regardless if this team knew how to lift a puck on a diving Niemi they could have had 3-4 goals

I am getting really close to just say blow this $hit up

But you're wrong...you do not see the puck in the net, which is what determines if it's a goal. You can only deduce....Toronto's responsibility is not to figure it out, their job is to definitively say that the puck clearly crossed the line.

Re: Seriouslly, how stupid are these morons in Toronto

I don't disagree Dis, but how do you know it was fully over the line? Did you see it fully over the line. It could have been 3/4 over the line.

But you know what...we had 100 great chances. We should have scored goals anyway. If Brassard didn't suck and could finish we wouldn't be concerned about a puck that we believe was fully across the line, but clearly never had a shot that showed it fully across the line.

Re: Seriouslly, how stupid are these morons in Toronto

Yeah, we would get screwed. And if you said to me was it in...I would say yes. BUT we never saw it fully over the goal line. You guys all know that to be the truth like it or not.

Spare me you didn't the puck in the net bullshit. It was obvious common sense. Distrubed hit it right on. If the teams were reversed, they absolutely would have called it a goal. You know it. Just think about all the time we have had calls go to Toronto and gotten screwed.

I would rather complain about Brassard, Nash and St Louis anyway

Seriously. And Stepan, and Richards...you know who played decently today? The 4th line! This team is totally dickless.

Okay, change the rule dump. The rule is you need clear evidence showing the puck in. CLEARLY we did not have that. You want to change the rule to if common sense says it went it that means it's a goal...go ahead and change the rule dump.

Bottom line is learn how to shoot and score a f'ing goal. Enough already with this BS. Nash is a joke now. Score some f'ing goals. 15 game stretch otherwise he has been invisible since the playoffs last season.

The Rangers have had those "common sense" calls go their way as well. The classic one was in the playoffs against Buffalo a handful of years ago.

Yeah, and they could have said goal. But for us to be all fired up blaming the game on that when 1. we didn't see the puck fully across the goal line. And 2. we missed great chance after great chance and lost 1-0 makes me laugh.

Need to figure out a way with technology like they do with a golf ball that picks up the puck almost like a homing device which I believe is available that will show the location of the puck at any given time. That being said I was surprised that they don't have a camera on sides of the net which would pick it up. I think the best shot they had was the side angle that the crowd went crazy when they saw it that showed the puck on the side of goalies pad with the pad going in and out of net like a cha cha dance with said puck doing the same. Bad call imo as usual by the 3 blind mice in toronto. Of all the major sports, hockey has the worst percentage of getting replay calls wrong which should be impossible and if they continue to suck like they do now they might as well not even bother. Just make the refs on the ice look even more inept if thats possible.

Change the ice under the net to plexiglas and put a camera underneath. Kind of like what they do on those poker TV shows. Won't help when the puck is in the air but when it's on the ice it would be pretty easy to see.

I think uneven officiating has a lot more to do with hockey's unpopularity than fighting, it's worse than wrestling.

If you can't use common sense to see that a puck went into the net and need indisputable proof, then what the hell do we even need morons in Toronto for? Just let the refs watch the replay and use that stupid philosophy.

They should use the refs. That's the change I would make.

Like I said last evening. I do think it was in. Logic tells me it was in. But by the letter of the law no one ever saw it fully over the goal line and in.

And BTW...give Niemi some credit there. He knew the deal. That is why he kept his pad where he did and dragged the puck out without moving his pad off the post. His hope was the puck could not been seen from any angle, and he was right. Very smart play.

Even bigger than who does the review, refs or Toronto, is getting better camera angles inside the net as Al mentioned. To truly get calls right you need to really be able to get in the net better. Now sometimes no matter what you have no shot due to the pads and bodies that can pile up, but the NHL needs to do better camera angle wise if they want to get these calls right for sure.

the overhead camera angle blows as usually the goalie is in the way, not to mention the net meshing.
the idea of camera under the ice like in poker and Nascar is interesting...
4 lipstick camers inside the corners of the posts and two in the back of the net would increase the probability of a good review...
