The schedule has been out for a while and the roster is pretty much set (other than maybe the 15th man). You've had 5 preseason games to evaluate the new guys.

So, what do you predict will be the longest Trail Blazer winning streak of the 2016-17 season?

For a little historical perspective, here's the longest winning streaks of the past three seasons.

2015-16: Won 6 in a row from Feb 6 - 23 (straddling the All Star break, won 11 of 12 and 14 of 16)

2014-15: Won 9 in a row from Nov 9 - 26

2013-14: Won 11 in a row from Nov 8 - 25

Feels like it's been forever since we've had a good winning streak.

I said 10 to be safe, cause it will at least be that if not more

A lot of this depends on our schedule. Outside of our last month or so, I see no prolonged easy stretches in our schedule. Like... you need two homestands sandwiching an individual road game or two.

This is probably the most realistic shot at an extended win streak:

Tue, Mar 21 vs Milwaukee
Thu, Mar 23 vs NY Knicks
Sat, Mar 25 vs Minnesota
Sun, Mar 26 @ Los Angeles
Tue, Mar 28 vs Denver
Thu, Mar 30 vs Houston
Sat, Apr 1 vs Phoenix
Tue, Apr 4 @ Utah
Thu, Apr 6 vs Minnesota
Sat, Apr 8 vs Utah
Mon, Apr 10 vs San Antonio
Wed, Apr 12 vs New Orleans

And even there we have @ UTA right in the middle of it.

This is really hard to predict.

I'll go with seven. The perfect number of dwarves or samurai.

Or deadly sins, or minutes in your ab workout, or chipmunks twirlin' on a branch...

Probably the best scene Harland Williams was ever in..... I cant believe he was in Sorority Boys. That film was so epically bad it was painful to watch.

For those who have not yet voted, one interesting thing to note regarding continuity and roster turnover.

In 2013-14 and 2014-15, we had very little turnover at the top of our roster (one new starter in 2013-14 and no new starters in 2014-15). In both seasons, we hit the ground running and had our longest winning streak of the season (11 games in 2013-14 and 9 games in 2014-15) in November.

Last year, with all the roster turnover (four new starters) we started slow and did not reach peak for until February, when we won 6 in a row and 11 of 12 from late January to late February.

This year, with five returning starters, it will be interesting to see when we have our longest winning streak of the season.

Fuck. That would suck. We sweep through the regular season and then lay an egg at home in the first game of the playoffs? We'd be the laughing stock of sports.

Yes, because winning 82 in a row always sucks.

Lakers or Clippers? Too lazy to look it up. Also, Utah sucks. They are nothing to worry about. I mean, they let broken down Kobe get 60 in their last game! They're horrible.

14.

After the massive over the top, unbelievable trade we are all waiting for.

It just started. It will last 11 games and we will be sitting in the #2 spot.

I voted for 2. By the way Boob, your grammar is lacking. It should say fewer, not less, than 5.
