He'll need more shots. He has only gone over 10 shots four times this season. In those games he was 35-53....a smoking .660 shooting percentage and he shot .500 from 3-pt range. And yet he still didn't get more shots.

One notion that is going through my brain is that the Blazers don't want to feature him to much because they don't want a restricted offer for his contract going to high. I guess it is probably far fetched, but it wouldn't explain how they are using him. Either that or Terry has the same tendencies we all know and love him for!

Like Crabbe, Layman is catch and shoot. When you depend on someone else to create your shot, you'll always get limited opportunities. At 6-9, he probably can't improve his dribbling much. The plateau we see is the ceiling we'll ever get.

I wonder if there's any chance coaches deny AD a spot in all star

Latest Rumors I’ve seen.....

Porzingis won’t sign off on a sign and trade as part of an AD trade but also isn’t happy with state of NY franchise

Philly wants Dedmon

Have you seen Jusuf Nurkic, Evan Turner and a pick to Memphis for Marc Gasal and Garrett Temple yet?

Begs the question.
How much will be "Too Much" for Jake Layman?

Well. My guess is Olshey has got a memo from the Vulcans sporting an exact overall payroll number. And he has to make sure Jake's available for that limit. Losing a player of Jake's quality this far into a rebuild would be something he might not get another chance to make up.

If this happens that would make it harder for the KNicks to trade for AD more then likely or maybe more likely but hard to tell until we see what is being traded but my guess :

Wes , Dennis Smith , another player mainly for the contract to fill in salaries and a 1st

They can only trade those guys individually now for the rest of the season.

Did NY really screw themselves in this deal? Exactly what two max free agents are going to sign with that train wreck of a team?
