If I were to post something similar, but direct it at non-white people. I have my doubts about it not being deleted.

Actually, none of what you said was true about my intentions.

Here's the thing, Sly had stated what the website was and it made me wonder where you got it. I've seen plenty of links doing research for stuff, or on twitter (etc) and they seem dubious. I tend to look into the websites that I link, because it's pretty obvious to tell if one is a solid source or not.

I asked where you got it. I.e., twitter, email, facebook, and that it's not a good look to be posting it. I had initially posted that if I had found a link to a website that was a white nationalist page, and I had no idea about it, I'd expect some people to ask where I got it.But I deleted it because I figured that was going into too much of a hypothetical situation.


But since you seem to be telling me to "fuck off" and "pound sand", I'll just say I'm glad I'm not the one posting a link to a white nationalist website.

That's my thought too (the deleting the original link and replacing it with Sly's, and then putting in a footnote).

By keeping it in there AND overreacting to my comment, will do exactly what he claims I did. It will make more people question his motives behind the original link.

Here's a simple template he could utilize

"Holy shit, I didn't know that was a website from a white nationalist group! Fuck those guys! I guess I should've done a little more digging first. Thanks @SlyPokerDog for providing a better link. I have deleted mine and replaced it with yours. My apologies to the forum for unknowingly providing a link to a racist website. I should hold myself to a higher standard than that".

But instead, the link is still there, and I was told to fuck off and pound sand when I pointed out it's not a good look. For those in the future who post links that are to white nationalists, unwittingly or not, it's not a good look. Be more diligent in where you provide your links. If the information is on a racist website but also on a non racist website, go with the non racist one.

It's a very misleading article.

It starts off with an inflammatory title and then immediately doubles down with a picture of black women protesting in NY that has absolutely nothing to do with the subject of the article.



Then it has these key words in the article that is also concerning.



This article is trying to connect something that was fucked up from 5 years ago to the protests today. The article has nothing to do with the protests, the riots, and it's debatable if race was a factor.

It's concerning and I don't think that was your intent when you posted it.
