They reviewed the call because they were gonna try to eject him and then realized it was a clean hit (despite what mel thinks) but it was too big of a hit for todays NHL so they had to call something.

If I had to guess I would say Lindgren's hit could have been called interference because the puck was long gone when he made the hit. It seemed like an elbow to me live from the high angle, the ice level angle looked more shoulder to chest to me. Either way, the penalty was called, its only two minutes and it looks like Rakell is likely done for the game. Kill off the last :40 and it's a trade I'd take ANY day.

Initial contact was NOT to the side of his head. It was to the chest and came up. It’s super quick and initial contact isn’t to head. Follow through did hit the head but not the initial hit.
