Cannot allow that goal. Our goaltending tonight has really let us down. You would think we have the 3rd stringer in. I just do not trust Georgiev. Why I would sink or swim with Igor.
 
The Nemeth thing is the one move I don't get from Drury. He never addressed that very clear weakness. Puzzling to me.
 
Nemeth for ffs. Terrible to lose this game after coming back to tie it at 4
 
That last goal is on Georgiev though. Sure Nemeth with a bad play, but an AHL goalie has to stop that let alone an NHL goalie. Has to make that save.

Nemeth’s slash on the stick changed the angle completely though.
 
A short side goal from that angle I think has to be stopped. He was cheating middle. Either way I guess not good, Nemeth or Georgiev. The obvious no show for the 1st period is the undoing here, but our inept PP tonight really hurt. And they got 2 PP goals (we got 1 shorthanded). Big edge special teams to them tonight. And we haven't done anything since their goal.
 
Shame of it is, if we lose I still believe we are the better team. I watch these games and it seems obvious to me. We dominate for long stretches. We don't finish, make a couple of dumb plays, and they take advantage. I think we win game 4 if we show from the start and win the series still.
 
Always find it odd that during time outs the head coach isn't talking in the huddle
 
This is a tough one to take. To no show the 1st, only to battle back, then has an inept PP and soft goal do us in is really frustrating. You almost prefer losing by 3 and not coming back. Hard to believe we are down 2-1 potentially as I think we should for sure be up.
 
Well, onto a must win game 4. Extremely frustrated with how these 3 games have played out. I think we'll win game 4 if we show up from the start. I haven't been this frustrated with the Rangers in a long time. No way we should be down 2-1 right now IMO.
 
Amazing how bad this franchise is with the empty net.
 
Fox finishes off a lousy game for him, zman continues to be a no show and coach gallant with a. Knute and a half left and down 1 with the goalie pulled what the fuck is Braun doing on the ice
 
Like I said. This team cannot play when they pull the goalie. They have no idea how to set up
 
Other thing, who had the 3rd string goalie in tonight? Their goalie outplayed our goalies hands down. Again - very frustrating. Big picture hopefully we learn from this.

And we need to re-sign Copp and let Strome walk. That is a must do for Drury.
 
Terrible collapse. All of Gallant for putting Nemeth out there. In a close game with time running down, you shorten the bench. No way in fuck should Nemeth be on the team, let alone out there on the ice.
 
I still think we’re the better team but they have to win it on the ice. The pens are not going to lay down for them
 
Hilarious that they suck so bad against this team. I don’t see them winning another game. They have to get better defensemen these guys suck
 
On top of that dumbass benches Kakko in favor of playing that shitty fourth line.

Agree 100%. We have the better team, but we need to play complete games, and capitalize on our chances. They have been, we have not. How we are down 2-1 despite being the better team.

Tonight was a no show 1st, soft goals by our goalies, and an inept PP that did us in.

The Pens have a few stars, and a lot of playoff experience, and that is winning the day for them against our inconsistent and inexperienced young team. And Z has been poor thus far.
 
From the start Shesterkin wasn't sharp and the Penguins got every bounce of the puck to go their way. They then allowed Pittsburgh to gain momentum from their penalty kill and settle themselves.
 
I said they are a year away. Losing Goodrow, Blais and Motte is too much. You need those guys in the playoffs
 
I say we win game 4 - I truly believe that. Season on line again, we'll see if they show.

Well said chuck. And gallant with his moves was just as bad. Needs to shorten the bench late in a tie game, limit nemeth and brains time out there and again with a minute and a half left how is Braun on the friggin ice!
