Yeah if you look at his game logs for the last two seasons, he is inconsistent as far as when he's dominant on offense but he honestly had no other offensive threat that he was playing with so if a team decided to key in on him and make anyone else score, it kind of makes sense. That wouldn't be a problem playing with Dame, Ant, Wood and even Nurk. He honestly hasn't played with one guy that is as good of a scorer as any of those guys. Saddiq Bey isn't as effective of a scorer as Ant, Wood or Nurk and that's the best scorer he's played with since leaving Denver.

    keep 17 and give 36 / 57 to Detroit

and possibly move up with the 17 with CHA to 13 for Blevins? :)

I like that too but I bet Dame would like Grant more. Also I don't think either of Eason or Dieng is going to be there at 17. Most likely both of them Ogbaji and Sochan are off the board at that point unless someone takes Jovik that early and maybe Jovik is exciting enough to use the pick on or maybe one of the other guys is exciting enough to use the Bucks 2025 FRP to move back up and take.

I just think with Dame's timeline, if Wood and 17 are available for 7 then the sensable thing is to use 17, Bledsoe and most likely future draft considerations to get a guy that's just a tick below an all star at a position of need and that's Grant.

I don't disagree, but was just going off the mock draft aggregator that Rasta posted.

Houston would probably ask for a 2nd or a player alongside the 7 pick.

This makes it look like 15 out of 45 but we probably did make the best out of the Tyrus Thomas pick even though he himself was a bust so 16 out of 45. I'm really not sure on some of them because I'm not going to go through every draft and see who was drafted before and after but it's fair to say that we've missed on over half of our first picks.

I would just add D’andre Hunter as a realistic target in a trade back scenario with Charlotte where we flip 9ne of the picks.

-long, athletic 3/4 defender who can knockdown the 3
-atl just regressed this season and flamed out in rd 1 of playoffs
    -played well in playoffs
    - doesn’t need ball in his hands so complements Dame and Ant offensively and defensively
    - Eligible for an extension which atl seems unlikely to pay
-Cons are he is inconsistent and he has had 2 knee surgeries since entering league

Late '80 - late '90's, trash heap stuff. Now the 89- 92 Blazers were a great team, but management did nothing to keep it stocked for the future. Plus the Drexler for a, used up ,Otis Thorpe trade was a debacle as well. Trader Bob went nuts in Free Agency and created a potential title team, but nothing sustainable. Really, only a third of the Blazers 1st round selections have panned out. Wonder how other teams compare during the same era.
