Coconut cream pie is the best thing going. Anyone who disagrees hates America.

I’ll eat any pie from Shari’s honestly. Even cherry… That coconut crème pie though.

it's not a quality desert if you don't need an angioplasty afterwards

We all know that whatever ingredients are gathered for the pie, the most important part is giving the pie..... proper time to bake!
But if you have bad ingredients in the pie , it taste like.... Blazers need some more apples and cinnamon. Then it will be just right.

Surprised there has been no love for Banana Cream pie......love it

To make apple pie
Grow Granny Smith apples, organically of course.
Mix sliced apples and sugar, let stand until juice extracts. Drain juice and boil until syrupy. You will never have soggy pie. Add reduced juice back to apples with cinnamon and bit of fresh squeezed lemon juice. Make an all butter crust. Chill pie dough before rolling. Pile filling into bottom, add top crust, crimp and use aspic cuter to make decorative vents. Bake until done. Have ready homemade vanilla or caramel ice cream. While pie cools a bit make caramel sauce with heavy cream. Slice pie when just barely warm, top with ice cream and warm caramel sauce.

If that doesn't float your boat, chocolate cream pie. Or cherry. Lemon meringue. Sweet potato. Fresh peach. Blueberry.

If you truly love pie then you need to visit Lauretta Jean’s on SE Division. She’s making pies using her Georgia grandmother’s recipes. She also makes other stuff too (cakes, scones, cinnamon rolls, etc). Hands down the best pie in the PDX area. The crust is unreal. And her sour cherry pie is incredible. She usually has around a dozen different pies to choose from. And I guess I’m in-American because coconut cream pie sucks ass………

If I’m ever driving by the Bay Area, I’m definitely hitting you up for an invitation. I’ll bring whatever flavor of ice cream you want.

Had to be home made.

I have a churn. When the time comes I will tell you right kind of eggs and cream.

This thread makes a lot more sense than some of the Pie in the Sky trade ideas I've been reading around here lately! Oh and Dutch Apple with French Vanilla Ice Cream for me please!

Does the piece of apple pie have a nice slice of cheddar on top?
