Anyway, Knicks up 5 in OT.

Curry finishes with 43 points and 13 rebounds and

Mardy Collins was 19 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, and 5 steals. 7 turnovers though - ouch.

Nate finished with 34 points and 7 assists.

The Knicks were playing without Stephon Marbury, Jamal Crawford, Steve Francis, Quentin Richardson, and David Lee. Doing the math in my head, that's probably close to 70 points missing between those 5 players.

Im not complaining or anything, I was glad we let you guys win. I dont want to win anymore games because it will make our draft pick worse. But you have to understand, that if we wanted to win that we could of.

We have been depleted for the whole season....You have just recently lost a few players.

We had 1 big man for this whole game, Gadzuric. Thats all we had.

We have had way more injuries than you throughout the season. Our star players have missed atleast 20 games this season EACH. We have easily been the most injury riddled team this year.

Even professional broadcasters agree that the Bucks are tanking, and not putting in 100%. We let you win that game on purpose, and I am glad we did. It keeps our chances of the number 1 pick alive.

Bogut, Villaneuva, Skinner and Bobby Simmons are much more important to the Bucks than the players you were missing. Oh and by the way, Redd is still playing injured and is not close to 100%.

Bottom line the Knicks were the better team, both teams are injury depleted though so who knows who's better.

Andrew Bogut is not even injured. He hurt his foot, and has now recovered. Bucks are sitting him out because the rest of the games this season are not important(Tanking). Teams do tank all the time. Boston, Memphis and Milwaukee are all tanking games. They rest their stars because they dont want to win games anymore. Boston, Memphis and Milwaukee are all sitting their stars out these past few games. If you cant see these teams are tanking then I suggest you take another look

They're professionals, they always play to win, no matter what. And I highly doubt Boston or Memphis is tanking. They each were missing their star player for a huge chunk of the season, and when you're as young as each of them are, you can't expect to win that much. And you don't tank at the beginning of the year either. Neither of them have been worth a damn from the get-go.

Beyond that, the Knicks are missing equally as important players as you guys. Starbury and Crawford are the two best offensive players on the team and David Lee is a great energy and hustle guy. Hell, one of the players you listed off (Bobby Simmons) hasn't played a minute all year, so I don't understand even bringing him into the argument. You can't really gauge his importance if he's sitting on the bench in a suit all season. And with Bogut, you don't recover from all sprains quickly. If it wasn't serious, I highly doubt they'd just shut him down. Sometimes sprains can actually come out worse than breaking a bone.

And as for Boston sitting out PP, I see nothing wrong with it. The team is going nowhere fast so why not? It gives them the opportunity to get a better look at some of their young talent and not risk Pierce getting hurt again. They're not tanking at this point, they're just trying not to kill their future.

Boston have been sitting out Jefferson also lately. They are doing this because they want to him rest up for next season. Because this season is over for them and they just want to get a better draft pick.
They are sitting out PP to lose games. Who wouldnt if you were going to get a shot at Greg Oden or Kevin Durant who both will be superstars.

I never said anybody tanked at the start of the year. Did you know Milwaukee were predicted to be a number 3 seed in the East at the start? Then injuries riddled them, they quickly fell to the bottom. When the Superstar players returned, it was too late. Our playoffs hope were still mathematically alive, but now its too late. So we are sitting out our Superstar players, or cutting back their minutes. We are doing this to get a better draft pick, because our season is basically over. So we are tanking to get a better pick. Its quite obvious.

Notice how none of the playoff teams sit out there players? Its only the teams near the bottom who let their star players rest.

Just admit, the evidence is there to prove that these teams are tanking.

Anyway, like I said, the Knicks were playing just as depleted as the Bucks.

Gutsy move by Isiah. That's one of the coaching moves where he'd be ripped apart later, if Curry hadn't hit the shot.

As for the whole tanking issue, I think people are being a little naive. Of course team's are tanking. Just compare this year (one with a strong draft class) to last season (one with a weak class), and you'll see that team's began to "rest their injured players" and "evaluate their prospects" a lot earlier than usual. Of course that doesn't mean the players have that in mind. For the most part, players won't care about the draft lottery and stuff like that, but GM's and upper management of a lot of these teams clearly have given up .

Did I not just say that teams do rest stars!? I mean it makes sense especially for players who suffer injuries at the end of the season like Bogut did. Besides...did Redd not play in the game? Is he not the Bucks star? geez think man

Anyways, it's a moot point. I admitted teams rest star players at the end of a decided season, but I still say that no matter what the players that are in the game give it there all, as does the coach. The bucks that were in MSG that night did not try to loose...if you think that you are frankly a moron.

You just don't get it, and this is the last time I'm going to explain it to you

I agreed they do, but that wasnt the case in the Bucks/Knicks game. Especially with Redd (there only star by the way) playing 40+ minutes. CV and Bogut have legit injuries and its only common sense to let them rest since nothing is on the line. That doesn't mean the team doesnt want the win though. And the individual players DEFINATELY want the win, no matter what.

With 0.9 left in the game, I'm sure the Bucks would be all over Nate Robinson and he wouldn't have gotten off a quality shot, that's why he was used as a decoy to give Curry an open look. It's not like Isiah drew this play out randomly, the Knicks actually practice this play. It was a gutsy move, as Chutney said, and it worked.

If the Knicks practice this play and it works, why was it a terrible decision.
