ESPN Article says 31 wins, good for 11th in the WC.

Do you have the over or the under?
I'm torn between 32 and 35 wins, but I basically admit to being a homer. Rather than do an exact win/loss record, it seems like it's easier to compare with ESPNs guess.
 
I'm a homer. I believe we will lose fewer than 50 games, so that puts us at at least 33 wins.

You keep believing that this already-assembled collection of young talent being terrible is a good thing; I'll keep believing that in-season development leading to better-than-expected performance is even better.

This is why I don't feel bad about saying under. It's a process.
 
In an earlier thread I went with 33 wins +/- 3. I'm sticking with it.

With that said, I'm excited about this new bunch of young guys with Dame leading the charge. Hopefully we build a good defensive foundation leading to a dynasty!
 
By the time of opening tip off I will have everyone here convinced we are one player away from being a dynasty! ;)

Hey buddy, I upped the win number by 2 since our last “discussion”.

The slight increase was because Pressey was added as the 3rd PG. If either Pressey or Frazier is cut and CJ is the BUPG, I am back down to 20 wins.

Aww, I'm flattered--I thought perhaps you'd have forgotten about that by now. Not sure why "discussion" is in quotes though--I found it to be a thoroughly enjoyable exchange.

In any case, I wouldn't want it any other way. We homers need you pessimists and vice versa. I'm still right though. :cheers:

i agree that if we build a solid defense foundation we can have a dynasty if offense goes as plan. a dynasty would be nice, especially for paul allen since he would have two dynasty in seahawks and blazers.

It’s all fun; we respectfully disagreed on this topic.
And again, I hope you homers are right and I am wrong.
But there are a lot of games to play before either one of us will be right. :smiley-beerchug:

This roster will eventually win the number of games you homers are predicting. However, I think you guys are a least a season or two ahead of the win curve.
 
This team better then 32 wins no they don't have the same skill set has last year. But I like this team skill set in a lot better than last year. Last year was a jump shooting team and occasional someone will take it to the rim. This year not only will be a good mid range shooting but they got guys can take it to the rim and finish.
 
Now the defense they are real long and they all can jump. Last year they play more below the rim then above. These young guys to me have better potential to cover the rim then last year. This year you the whole front line that can block shots and very quick getting there to block the shot.
 
Do if your starters are a little below average and your bench is a little above average, does that make you average?

I'm also an admitted :hcp:! Hahaha! I see some of the power Homers on here w/ ~33wins; I'd like to think I'm realistic w/ predictions/thoughts w/ our Blazers & in life but again w/ the ~33win theme... I guess because I think it's actually gonna be more like 37 or @ least closer to this... that would make me more of a Homer v. what I thought!:tongue2:

Meh! Oh well!
