This reminds me that of 2015 game seven against Tampa.
 
That the best this core can do. 2 ECF game wins. Thats the best they can do against the top teams in the league.
 
I think it was Mess who said it, playing well doesn't mean sh*t if you don't score. Solid period, but who cares. Mika hasn't scored in going on 11 games, and East West hasn't scored going on 9 games, our two best players with huge cap hits. Awesome stuff.

Lav has changed lines, changed the lineup, moved guys up, moved guys down it doesn't matter...WHY...BECAUSE IT IS THE PLAYERS. I am not understanding how it isn't getting through to some of you. We have seen this game 800000 times over the past decade, every time we are in a big game late in the playoffs and the series we don't score goals, rinse and repeat rinse and repeat. Ask Hank about it, ask Igor about it. Enough already.

Florida is obviously very good, but this is the same theme over and over again. It is actually very simple, the players we have are not good enough, period. They cannot get it done in big tight spots and wilt every single season. Until we get some tougher North South players, we will ALWAYS come up short.

Of course, it does. Two years ago, against TB also. The no show in game 7 last year. On and on. Because our players are soft and cannot get it done in big spots late in the playoffs year after year.

Yup, they’re another good period away from elimination.
 
I laughed out loud when they said. after game 5 Fox said we have to get more pucks on net and not always look for the perfect play. We have been saying that about these players for 15 years, and Fox has an Apiffany after game 5 of the ECF in 2024. Cannot make this up.

More proof it is the players, through MANY MANY coaches the team doesn't shoot enough, doesn't get to the paint enough, doesn't play the dirty playoff game as the playoffs go on enough. I am highly confident the MANY MANY coaches tell them, and they just are not wired that way.

I want a cleaning of the house this summer, and if Drury doesn't have the ability to get it done, he needs to be fired and a Pres and GM that can actually do it needs to take over. I am fed up with all of the same sh*t year after year.
 
A lot less Rangers fans there tonight than for games 3 & 4, I get it.
 
The same story since 2012 when they had no business losing to New Jersey.
 
The Ottawa series when they dominated and somehow lost. Always going 7 against inferior teams. It is the same year after year, and it will not stop until different types of players are added. Enough of the soft Euro East West way of playing, it has to be stopped this summer and a new direction must be taken.
 
This season is the absolute last straw for me. I cannot take this crap anymore; it is literally the definition of crazy. We would have been better off being really bad for 5 or 6 years to build a team the right way than this nonsense. It has to change this summer if we don't win this 3rd period.

They’re torture enough to tie it and lose in OT.
 
This is why I watch 15-25 regular season games now. Not worth it to investment so much time anymore and watch this shit
 
Mika had a chance to take it the net and score. What does he do? Takes the easy way out and Passes to shitberg in the middle of the ice
 
The Rangers got outplayed in every aspect of this series. They are lucky they won two games. Florida is better top to bottom. From coaching all the way to goaltending. Florida >>> Rangers.
Have fun over the next 4 months listening to the same posters write the same bullshit post after post like they are going to have any influence over what happens in the off-season.
 
And that is that. Games 5 & 6 Rangers score essentially 1 total goal. Zibanejad doesn't score for 11 games; East West doesn't score for 9 games. Thank goodness they make over $20M combined. Let's hear about how Florida was just too good now, which will simply ignore that this same thing happens to the Rangers late in the playoffs YEAR AFTER YEAR. Hank in goal, doesn't matter, Igor in goal, doesn't matter. 1-4 in the ECF since 2012, that is not Florida, WE ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH AND DON'T PLAY THE WAY YOU NEED TO IN ORDER TO SCORE IN THIS BIG SPOTS LATE IN THE SERIES LATE IN THE PLAYOFFS.
 
Gordon deserved to get fired just for giving Trouba this idiotic contract. This guy is an abomination. Can’t even hit the fucking net
