No not yet. I have questioned his coaching ability at times, but he can definitely recruit. I think we have more talent than the Duckies so I've been disappointed with the start to our year. A win in Eugene would go a long way toward fixing things though.
I have to admit I'm surprised. Although, I talked to a couple of Beaver alums with very close ties to the program and Robinson is universally disliked by players and all else. Maybe the players have given up on him.
I admit to not being the biggest Ducks BBall follower (although that is who I would say I root for in NCAAM)... is the Pac 12 Down a ton this year, or is Oregon that much better than expected?
It looks like it's a little of both, with the Pac 12 being really down this year, and the Ducks being a little better than people thought
gotcha thanks! Still not a bad deal Sounds like after initial disappointment that Altman is a hell of a coach! I'll have to check Matthew Knight Arena sometime. I remember going to a few games at the Pit which was a blast!
I watched Dominic Artis play for Findlay Prep play last night. He's going to be good. The next great Duck PG.
The Jabari Brown thing still sucks, but it was obvious from watching a few games that Brown should not have received a 5* rating. The crazy thing is that he landed at Missouri, which is full of perimeter players just like him, except bigger and better.
Better? Maybe. But, Brown is bigger than all the guards that get meaningful playing time except for Kim English and he's mainly a perimeter player. I wonder why Brown decided on Mizzou
Brown is a 6'4" SG who dominates the ball. This is the most accurate synopsis of him I've read, based on what he showed at UO. I was thrilled when the Ducks signed him, but as I posted in this thread, even before he decided to leave UO, I just didn't see "it" in him. He's a shorter and less athletic Bryce Taylor, and he doesn't play defense. The upside is he seems to be decent in the post area.

I want to put this Duck fan on cardboard cutout. I think hes saying Beaver players or fans are like a bunch of Justin Bieber crybabies. Looks like that didn't happened and the Beavs prevailed.
Shocked that there are no comments in this thread about last night's dog abuse. I think PETA may be protesting MKA after the whooping the Puppies suffered. Is it possible that a dominating victory like this over the conference leader might be enough to get Oregon into the "others receiving votes" section of one of the polls?
lol it was great. Especially when a pups fan on the ESPN boards was popping off before the game yesterday.
