Now that Nate is gone, he might be the single most over rated coach in the entire league. Everyone knows Mike Brown sucks, so he is not on the list.

Blech. Malone or Shaw. I'd rather give Canales another year to groom our draft picks than take Brooks.

Right after we trade for Howard and sign Deron I'll be hoping for Phil Jackson.

If by some odd ball chance that doesn't happen I'd like to see us go after Mike D'antoni.

But if we don't pick up ANY decent vets then what the heck give it to Shaw or Malone. Canales needs to be a lead assistant before he gets a head coaching gig. Making him a permenate coach too soon would set him up to fail and really slow his development.

Brooks never did anything to help the Thunder win in crucial moments. The Thunder suck at scoring out of timeouts, and too many times Durant wouldn't even move to get open. Brooks is half the reason Westbrook looks so clueless out there.

The #1 reason you do this is his intimate knowledge of OKC, the team that will be on top the west for years to come.

PA: Tell me why OKC is is so successful?

    Scott: Kevin Durant

    PA: What else?

    Scott: Nothing

I know PA has a lot of money, but I'm not sure that's putting it to good use?

Anytime you can get a rival team's executive you go for it. Headhunting 101.

Well, at least he didn't use the Blazers to get more money from the Thunder.

A coach who will commit to Lillard and Leonard getting at least 24 MPG. None of this "we must play Joel 40 MPG so we can finish 10th in the west, instead of 11th!"

Olshey believes in waiting to look at coaches until you draft your 2 rookies for the coach to base his whole system around.
