I don't know. Most of today's sharp shooters in college get pretty wide open a lot. The defense isn't that good. But it's always a good thing to have quality shooters. A lot of the NCAA players you watch in the tourney are super inconsistent shooters.
Martin Stadium has been a house of horrors for the Ducks. The Cougs aren't Joja, but they are a formidable foe. Ducks better bring their A game.
Comment from George with regards to UCLA and a factor they should consider. If he's way off, total BS or just desperate, not sure that bodes well for Pac12. “We think the incremental money they’re going to receive from the Big Ten media rights deal will be more than 100 percent offset by additional expenses,” he said. “You end up taking that money you earn and it goes to airline and charter companies and coaches and administrators. It doesn’t go to supporting the student athletes.”
2008: W 63-14 2010: W 43-23 2012: W 51-26 2014: W 38-31 2016: L 33-51 (Mark Helfrich's 4-8 season) 2018: L 20-34 (Mario's first season) 2020: W 43-29 Ducks have won 5 of last 7. Mike Leach had Oregon's defense off balance for a few years but yeah, the Ducks will need their A game to get a win, and the crowd will be loud and hostile
Mario righted the ship against the Cougs after a 4 year slump. Hopefully Coach Dan Dan can keep the good times rolling.
Funny how i thought a 2 game slump at Martin was a House of Horrors. But when you go back and look at Ducks football over the last decade, they haven't lost many on the road. Only Martin Stadium losses stood out to me.
Ducks with a piss poor effort on defense. This is why Martin Stadium is a House of Horrors for the Ducks. They play "little" there. It's early, but c'mon.
Response was good early, but so predictable in the red zone. This Cougar defense is for real. Bo gonna have to do more with passes inside the zone the rest of the game.
They need to sit back on defense. Ward isn’t a pocket passer. You can tell he prefers making decisions on the fly
Bo Nix has gone back to not surveying the field while in the red zone, and throwing to his 1st read, which has been terrible. Can't settle for field goals all day.
