Over his career AD averaged 60 games per year. That's better than Nurkic who averaged 50 games per year...
Lol is that really true? I mean it does make sense since nurk missed lots of time. Are we strictly talking because of injury (AD) or just straight playing time cause Nurk was second fiddle at the beginning of his career.
pretty sure Nurk did have about a half-dozen or so DNP-CD's in 2015-2017. But he has dealt with a serious injury in 7 of his 8 seasons. 2017-18 was the exception. That was also the season the Blazers had the 8th best defense in the league. But they had a lot of defensive depth including Ed Davis
Over 8 / 10 years (which is where they are in their careers) - it is good enough. We have a large enough sample size to minimize the small discrepancies.
No, I meant if you take away his freak injury, and this last seasons "mysterious case" of plantar whatchamacallit, it's not so bad. Still not like we can talk smack compared to AD
If only they had experience running other pick n roll defenses over the course of the season. They probably would've been more prepared for the adjustment and probably wouldve executed it better. Could've made it a series.
I kind of can't really believe Terry Stotts would consider or be considered for that matter for the Lakers Job? Just doesn't seem to suit him? Maybe I'm wrong here?
He absolutely could if Lebron and AD stay and they get Wall. I could also see them trying to get Lavine.
The Lakers have assets that no other team has because they are the Lakers. Edit- That's why we Hate Them!
