Exactly. They would continue to postpone if they felt their was a big risk of his healthy creating complications.
Agree. My grandfather had the same issue, but his health and vitals were never solid enough for them to feel comfortable with any operation. I mean, he still lasted until 96 years old. Sounds like Lanny is in better health than my grandfather was. And that is a great sign.
Just got off the phone with Lanny. He had an angiogram. There is a slight infection from it. So they will wait 6 days before they can do the stent. After they do that they can replace the heart valve that is causing all the trouble. He really wants to go home but the doctors are advising against it.
Hang in there Lanny...you are probably in surgery as I type this...you can get through this my friend.
Crap, that mean they found bacterias on his heart valves ? I had a blood infection earlier this year and they did an angiogram, which I believe was to look for that (thankfully I had nothing on my heart). Hang in there Lanny, extended time at the hospital does suck.
This thread is turning into the same thing as the Sharpe update thread... I'm almost afraid to click on it.
Much love Lanny. Come back after surgery so you can tell everyone how much of a bad dog @SlyPokerDog was humping your nurses leg.
Lanny definitely has the "experience" advantage over Sharpe. And his parents. And their parents. And...
