    He wasn't going to be "fired." Most national team managers typically only last 1 tournament. Dominech had already planned to be done with the team after the WC. It just so happened that his reign ended in a complete implosion.

    Can't wait til tomorrow. The US has a real good chance to advance to the round of 8. Oh man!

    Ghana was one of my favorite teams in the tourny other than the US, though. But I think they are one of the best teams we could have played that advanced to 16.

    The world cup is great.

    Yes a decent chance to advance which is awesome!!! Who would they potentially play next? I have yet to find a round of 16 bracket that doesnt just have all 32 teams, and potential round of 16 matches.
