Three threads here, in S2, on the subject and no one could or would specify and amendment that would have stopped this shooter.

No one specified a mental health improvement that would have stopped this shooter.

Back ground checks did not deter him.

Calls to the FBI warning of this fellow about to go off. Did not stop him

We have silly laws in place that make schools gun free zones, and therefore safe zones for shooters. He ignores the gun free zone law.

An obvious answer, is to arm people in schools to protect the children. I think it is completely dysfunctional to allow these shooter gun free access to our children.

I suspect the left, loves to use the opportunity, "calling for legislative action on gun control, saying it's "long overdue.". This includes the troll, Sly!! Taking hard direct action to protect the children would reduce, if not eliminate the opportunities.

2. Remove them from society.

Can't find a number that says total sales.

Which is a problem, imo. I can easily find how many cars were sold, how many pizzas, just about anything. Can't find how many guns were sold.

I can find that only 7.4% of federally licensed firearms dealers had their records inspected in 2014. That went down to 6.3% in 2015.

So many debates on what legality, when I feel like it's irrelevant to a lot of tragedies. Seems like it'd be too easy to get a gun illegally considering how many we manufacture.

So did the Sandy Hook shooter or it was reported.
Since this is a hot item, I expect we would have an ear full of how this dudes manage to obtain the weapon illegally or how it fell through the cracks on background checks. Correct me if I am wrong, but I just don't remember hearing any of this.

Could be a false narrative for political reasons, I'm not sure. All I know is that there has to be a ton of guns getting bought illegally, just due to the sheer number manufactured and imported. They have to be going somewhere.

It does. Some of those laws hold gun manufactures responsible for making sure their guns get sold legally. Makes sure they can account where all their guns get sold too. But, republicans are in their pockets and have and will continue to remove all regulations. So, in fact, it is the other way around. None of the laws you guys want changes a damned thing.
