It's a form of stealing. I used to get paid to write. So, I'm a bit sensitive to these issues. Same if someone stole a photo and used it without the photographer's permission, or stole a song and didn't pay the artist. Clearly, there is no money at stake here, but it's a matter of principle.

Well, if others sites did, then someone could create an "anti-parental" filter that actually PUTS IN profanity. This would make it time consuming to safely copy and paste. What's hilarious is that the inserted profanity could be in a light colored and perhaps even transparent font

Nice thought, but they can simply type in what they read here, or edit/fix what's pasted.

Some sites do something like it if you link images from their site.
