I'll probably fly in the next 3 months.

 

I'll probably be driving there in the next 6 weeks.

 

I heard only a few hotels, 25-50% capacity? I think there will be high demand.

I'd like to stay at Red Rocks or something. Nothing really drawing me to the strip unless its the Wynn or Palazzo or Bellagio (nice, uncrowded pools).

Maybe Ceasars Palace, who knows. We'll see whats up. Nothing booked up yet.

 

Come November I may decide to take a very long plane trip...I need to get a new passport before the post office dies!

Fair enough...just thought it was odd that you made the point of quoting me for some reason, before making your comment.

 

"Destroying thousands of lives" is just a monetary problem. The "saving of hundreds of lives" is actually the saving of hundreds of thousands of lives from death. I can live with sleeping in my car or in a tent but I can't live with death.

 

I flew this weekend and it was weird. Everything in the airport is closed. EVERYTHING. I had three rows (18 seats) to myself on the plane. Thought about upgrading to first class for $50, but they aren't serving beverages, so what's the point. Airlines must just be hemorrhaging money.

 

First class seating and food is so much better.
I once got to fly first class. I was in the Army and reporting to my base in New Jersey. I got to D.C. and had to get off the plane for about half an hour. When reboarding a stewardess told me I was being bumped out of my tourist seat by some French tourists. They made me sit in First Class as punishment for flying Military Standby. Yeah, I got bumped by tourists.

 

Fuck that, shoot me.

 

I disagree. The economic distress will kill people as well. There will come a point that a difficult decision will have to be made.

 

You're talking dozens vs hundreds of thousands one of whom just might be me considering my 8 risk factors and my wife with her one risk factor. Kill one of us and you might as well kill both.

Nah. That phase is done. The only place that is doing that is Hawaii, and that expires end of June.
