If CP3 stays in OKC I bet we see a much better Adams offensively this year. The playoff series vs OKC kind of cracked me up, Adams would be wrecking the Blazers (Kanter could not guard him), then after like 6 minutes or so, he would like never get the ball in position to again. OKC played some of the stupidest basketball... For all RW’s talent and drive he doesnt play smart basketball, and although I dislike CP3 for being a dirty player and a flopper (he’s one of the worst), CP3 is a very smart basketball player.

    He doesn’t play defense?
How does KAT’s defense compare to Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum?
Here are some career number for Townes:
    Points in a game: 56
    Rebounds in a game: 27
Offensive rebounds in a game: 10
Defensive rebounds in a game: 21
    Blocks in a game: 6

What does McCollum do besides score? Why would you build around him as one of your two building blocks?
I’d much rather have Townes than McCollum in that capacity.
    That is my point.
If the Blazers could get someone else better than Townes, I’m all for that.

CJ is a better defender than KAT would be at PF.

The Blazers don’t need more offense from the C position. They need defense.

    Compared to Townes? HE WINS!

How many playoff games has Townes helped his team win?

How many playoff games would CJ have played in if his best teammate was Wiggins...and how many would KAT had played in if his teammate was Dame?

Lillard and KAT. Now that's an epic tandem. It would blow the doors off of Lillard and Aldridge.

Collins and Townes would make a great front court too. Collins wouldn't be a mis-fit if he wan't hitting his 3-pointers since Townes can effectively shoot from downtown.

Except for the fact that they were 3-7 with Butler and Towns as the main players. Some players don't necessarily translate well to wins and KAT has fit that description since he came into the league, especially since he is being paid over twice as much as Nurkic.

I'm stating reality where as you are stating a hypotheticals. Hypoyheticals don't win games. KAT also had Jimmy Butler and that failed miserably and was traded out of town.

Yes, it would be like CP3 and DeAndre lob city all over again. Really odd how OKC stopped using that given it was killing us.

Isn't that like saying a bag of hammers is smarter than a bag of wrenches?

I agree with this for the most part, but I do have concerns about Townes motor and desire to win. I'm not saying the wolves failure is all his fault, but that team has performed very poorly given then apparent talent. Given how low I value CJ I would probably make the trade as is, but if I was GM and my job depended on it, I would probably dig deeper into Townes eye of the tiger.

Are you saying that CJ McCollum is a better overall player than KAT? I’m saying KAT is.

You could say that about Anthony Davis too. Good players on lousy teams.

What team has Wiggins taking nearly as many shots as Towns? Minnesota. It’s a badly run and coached team.

I think it's a terrible idea to have CJ play PF.
