getting back on topic...this board so wanted to give Moore more and more PP time thinking he was the second coming at the end of last season, now we should put him in the press box for a guy who was traded twice in the same season.

reading this post anyone would think you just joined this board. Have you been paying attention all these years? On this board (and ESPN boards prior) the theme goes from SC contenders, dynasty in the making after a win to a complete disaster, blow this team up after a loss.

and that is exactly my point. yet it somehow ends up to be my "crush" on the last coach. you know very dam well that if it was the other way around and Moore was having an outstanding season it would have been the last coach holding him back.

same thing goes for our wonderboy kreider. funny how fast he went from savior to him being sent to the minors to start the season.

it ends up being your "crush" b/c you keep bringing him up, just like you did on this thread. We had 13 posts on this thread then you brought up Torts for no reason. Let it go already.

wow..there was a clear reason...again we all wanted more out of Moore from last year...and at the time it was complaints that the old coach should have used him. now we bring in Diaz and suddenly Moore is scrap. something happened to him this year in his development.

bigD, i don't have a dog in this fight, u r a great guy, is all ok in your life? never seen you so angry....

and i'm gonna try and not make you any angrier, but with reagrds to More moore on PP last year, it would not have mattered 1 bit either way who was put on it, i don't know if you heard the interview early this year , a player was asked why was the PP so much better then last year, the answer was plain & simple, we are practicing it! torts was a NUT!

I already said that was a major fault of the coach and is easily a reason to be dismissed.

Question though is why has Moore digressed this season when he looked so promising at the end of last season under the iron fist of Torts.
We all had high hopes on him progressing and being a leader on the PP.

People have been blaming the coaching staff for years with this team....it's nothing new. But Al is right, if you try to defend the coach by saying "Let's not expect everything to improve just because there's a different dude behind the bench" then people will assume all your doing is blindly supporting the coach. You can only do so much as a coach with a flawed or underperforming team.

don't know enough about hockey to answer, i would imagine AV's system is part of reason, its uptempo, long outlet passes, is moore the type player?

I still stand by my suggestion to scratch St Louis for one game. It would not hurt the team in any way. Let him sit for one and then put him back out there.

They aren't going to bench St. Louis because he's failed to score a goal, and they'd be stupid if they did. He's a veteran, PROVEN goal scorer and I'm sure this isn't the first time he's gone through a dry spell. He can skate, as well as pass and when on the ice he often draws two defenders, which means someone is open. As long as the Rangers are winning, he doesn't have to score ... but yes I want him to
