Sure, he might get a big offer from POR (relative to what he probably should get) but I bet he gets an even bigger offer from another team.

Why would give get a big offer from another team? Especially if he continues to be horrible this year.
 
Myers will get between $17-20 million per year over a 5-6 year deal.

You accidentally replaced the pesos symbol with a dollar sign.

Oh, and the NBA doesn't allow contracts over 4 years unless re-signing one of your own players. It would be impossible for the Blazers to "match" a 5-year offer to Meyers.

this must be a joke? LOL there are no 6 yr deals and Meyers no one will pay Meyers even close to that kind of money, PA would fire Olshey on the spot if he even brought that up, LMAO

Jason Quick: Should the team sign him? Yes, he is such an unique talent. But it always depends on what number we are talking about. Sign him for $15 million a year? Not right now. Ten million a year? Probably. Bottom line is it's too early to fairly identify a price tag.
 
Meyers was scouted and teams were closing in on him as soon as he received the ball on the perimeter.

The summer plan? Work on a quicker release.

Miserable failure.
 
I think Meyers is only effective when his minutes are limited. The guy doesn't have a feel for the game, never has, never will. But there an old sports saying, focus on what the guy can do, not what he can't do. As long as they keep playing him a lot, he's going to be exposed.
