I like having a real center, for sure. But Plums will be a good add for Denver. I just think The Big Nurk has a higher ceiling and we likely would've let Plums go.

But to also collect a first rounder in a deep draft? Yeah, buddy...

We lost an ugly bell-to-bell blowout.

Pardon my lack of enthusiasm, but I think we win this game with Plumlee.

I didn't care if we lost or won the game. Nurks looked good.

And plumlee wasnt the answer tonight. No one was. We got our asses kicked.

If they had Plumlee instead of Meyers, maybe the game wouldn't have ended so lopsided.

I think the real question that needs to be asked is who is going to make the Jusef Nurkic FU Tour 2017 thread and why hasn't @Strenuus made it yet????

WTF?!? Such a jinx post.

:beatinto::smiley-eek2: Why would you say this?!!??? :smack::dupnoevil:

Guys, I wasn't wishing serious injury on Nurk. I'm basically saying there's no way he can possibly suffer a serious injury. I mean, after all the previous injuries to Blazers centers, what are the odds? It's just not possible for it to happen again. Nurk's going to be just fine. I honestly believe we've kicked the curse and any vengeful gods.

I was really happy Nurkic had a good first game. This should help his confidence in himself and in the belief that a new team will help him turn it around. Hopefully the realization from his Denver experience that success isn't guaranteed, combined with his new chance, will give him the motivation to work really hard at getting in shape and improving his skills.

Agreed - I just hope it doesn't lead to us winning games this season. :)

Things he does in that video that are incredibly refreshing:
BLOCK SHOTS!!!
Nifty spin moves.
Hits a long jumper.
That touch pass to Crabbe basically the first time he got the ball on offense.
Knock people over like ninepins.

BUT on the other hand, he was very rude. He made the rest of the Blazers look EXTRA bad by comparison.
