Agent Rich Paul has notified the New Orleans Pelicans that All-NBA forward Anthony Davis has no intention of signing a contract extension if and when presented and that he has requested a trade, Paul told ESPN on Monday.
Rich Paul of ESPN on a preferred destination for Anthony Davis: "Anthony wants to be traded to a team that allows him the chance to win consistently and compete for a championship."

Olshey would never in a million year include CJ in any kind of deal for AD, not a chance. We would maybe offer them Harkless, Aminu and a couple of picks which will not be anywhere near enough.

They need to somehow avoid trading him now because Celtics cannot make a deal. If they wait until Summer they will get a better deal.

I'm pretty sure CJ and Dame are two untradeable assets we have. Dame is top of the list but CJ is very close. If we were not going to include him in a trade for PG or Kawhi when there was a chance, what would change now?

Besides I doubt NO would even be interested in that.

Outside candidate are IMO Philly. Simmons and a couple of picks would have to at least get New Orleans to sit down and talk.

You sure about that? He’s become so hell bent on them staying together. You get on the phone and offer anybody but dame. Watching dame and him together would be insane. That’s a matchup nightmare for any squad

I don't think he would but we'll never find out.

Philadelphia are really a strong contender here. I would also give Toronto a shot, they are desperate to make it and their young assets are better than Lakers young assets IMO.

I guess there is no point even to make a phone call since Ainge can easily promise them for summer Tatum, Brown+their 100 1sts which beats any offer we can make with our very late 1st rounders. This is simply a case that is out of our reach, we don't have the assets. I mean Tatum easily is more valuable than CJ+Nurkic since they will get into a deep rebuilding proccess.
