And the first goal was terrible also. Plus Ullmark is much bigger, his shoulder may have stopped the winning goal. Who knows, either way it didn't work.

Not sure if I would trust Georgiev in game 7

Yeah, the OT goal was a perfect shot on a screen. The tying goal just cannot be allowed.

That was unstoppable shot under the crossbar plus Tkachuk screened him perfectly. No one is stopping that.

I don't disagree, just saying you never know. Ullmark is bigger, he may be out further cutting off the angle. You never can say for sure. But even best case Swayman let in 2 soft goals. Maybe Ullmark let's in 3 soft goals, who knows, but it wasn't the right decision.

BTW - I love Tkachuk, he is such a playoff player, they both are, just like their dad who was rumored to be a Ranger 35 times, but it never happened.

I don't know, I think the Panthers get by the Leafs too in 7.

What if Ottawa makes it to the playoffs eventually and plays Florida. The parents will have some tough choices to make for who to root for. I think two Tkachuks would kill each other in the playoff series.

NHL playoffs, crazy stuff. Regular season everything record holder one and done after leading 3-1, and defending champs lose to 2nd year expansion team in round 1. Hardest trophy to win for a reason...

Crazy...i went to bed after the 1st period of the Avs Kraken game. I can't fathom how the Kraken managed to win that series.

All the more reason why winning tonight is so huge. The Pres trophy regular season record holders and huge playoff favs are out, the defending champs are out, the 3 time defending East winners are out. It is so wide open right now, not sure who the favs are - maybe Leafs, Oilers, and VGK, but even still wide open for any team that is standing in round 2. Need to win tonight and be one of those teams.

Finished round 1 at 5-3, lost every game 7.

Great start for Florida against Toronto. There might be something to the year after winning the Pres trophy run. TB did it. We'll see if Florida beats Toronto. Watch out for Boston next year.

Boston is screwed next year with cap space. This was their year when they went all in with the deadline acquisitions. Pretty sure they gave up 1st round picks, too. They could be in for a few years of pain unless they can get older players to retire to give them some cap space relief.

Subban in hot water over a comment regarding Leafs and singer Lizzo

"listen, maybe (Leafs) need to pack a Lizzo-sized lunch....."

Funny but inappropriate, so will be interesting how ESPN handles the cancel mob since Subban is a DEI hire and those are basically untouchable

They should dump Subban simply because he's a clown who offers little substance.

Florida comes back from being down 0-2 and now leads 3-2.

NHL playoffs, so unpredictable. Florida goes from an 8 seed with very little chance to do anything, to looking great, and maybe being the East fav. Love the NHL playoffs.
