A Trump fan lectures me on how to behave....
People are missing the point. Assuming the parties are consenting adults and there is no abuse, no one has the right to judge other people's marriages. It's simply not your business. How many of you straight guys would be OK with someone who did not know you publicly questioning the validity of your marriage and saying it should not be legal? Like none? Like wouldn't you tell the person (especially one whose own marital history was far from exemplary) to go fuck themselves? Yet when this is done to us we are supposed to be nice. To understand them. I understand, all right. People who think we are inferior, not entitled to civil rights they take for granted for themselves, maybe we shouldn't even exist.
You don't approve of same sex marriage, marry a person of opposite sex. You don't approve of marriage outside one's own racial/ethnic/religious group, marry someone in your own group. Who others choose to marry is none of your damn business, full stop.
