can grant play small forward and if yes, how good

collins needs a change of scenery, but if he gets traded to portland, hed be 3rd option at best, so the question is: would that really make him happy and bring the best out of him

lets say grant plays well at the three and collins is happy, wed surely be more balanced on offense, but collins isnt really known for being a good defender, is he

if we had hart, collins & nurk in the starting line-up, our outside shooting would suffer, but our inside scoring would be great or at least should be

id certainly explore ant for collins, but whats interesting, ant played better last season as pg and 1st option, than now as sg and 2nd option

Also besides this season where he is rumored to be so disengaged with his team, he's a very reliable spot up three point shooter. The guy is just a really good athlete with defensive versatility, good timing on rebounds and rim protection, who before this season could really shoot the rock when he has space and is stationary.

We can label them what we want because of their heights, but I'd say Grant has been more SF for us, Hart more the PF. Is Collins a better PF than Hart for us? Is it worth the additional pieces it'd cost?

If you trade a hart package for John Collins then go get cam reddish with two second round picks

Sac wants to deal Holmes for 2 SRPs. I like him a few years ago but I dont know what happened to him. Hardly plays now. But as a backup big?

It's fun to think about us getting another big body for 2 second rounders and especially a big that can move as well as Holmes can but it wouldn't just cost us two SRPs. We would have to match is 11.2M salary. I don't think he's playing at the level of Josh Hart this season, let alone sending Josh and a couple of seconds. I actually can't pinpoint one package of players that add up to his salary, that we would send out, only get Holmes back and win the trade, let alone adding any kind of picks.

i tend to think so because i like collins. i also think he can play backup 5 in a pinch.

this week, hart has played legit minutes on defense against guys like banchero and mobley. would rather have collins assuming that role.

How about we keep Hart and play him at SG, then?

the premise behind this kinda idea is that nate mcmuffin is completely misusing Collins, who is the better overall talent.

in addition, hart is serving well in a role while playing a position where we have depth and he's an upcoming free agent that we should try to maximize value while we can.

this would be a buy low, sell high move.

You're acting on the assumption that John Collins is better than Josh Hart. I have yet to see evidence of that. I would rather have Josh Hart playing PF than John Collins playing PF.

Any way to turn Ant, Nurk, Hart etc into a high FRP?

Patty Mills wants out of Brooklyn and is going to request a trade. Backup PG and shooter available.

probably unlikely he gets traded, but could be a summer target in a S&T.
